But we know that both of you were all set to criticize him if Chicago was
awarded the Olympics.
Well done!

When you think about it critically (hard for u righties lol!!!), Obama
inherited a badly battered American credibility on the world stage from
George W. Bush. So when you think about this (critically), not getting the
olympics is actually Bush's fault.

Any U.S. President would have "backed" any city that was to be
considered for the Olympics. President Obama's connections to Chicago
made his backing more enthusiastic.

Yes, the money spent trying to get the Olympics was wasted. Much MORE
money would have been lost if they had succeeded.

The Brazilians, by the way, had a very good point that no Olympics
have ever been held in South America. Other than Antarctica, South
America is the only continent that has not been allowed to disrupt one
of its regions and bleed money for our entertainment.

does that mean that when Bush inherited the 25 terrorists living in the
building next to me that Clinton was at fault ?

Clinton was supposedly running the CIA then and i sent word to the guy in
charge of taking down Pablo nothing was done.

The problem that i had was that Bush has always run the CIA and it kinda
looks like they not only knew of the impending situation but they created
it.

Maybe the guy i told tried and was shot down ?

I dont trust any of our leaders to help out the masses unless it suits
them.

I get screwed over constantly for telling you people these things. What do
i get for it ? I get Koolaid thrown at me from all sides.

Keep drinking the Koolaid and we will all die.

Jersey I really don't know why you bother anymore. This reaction (and
you are correct, it would have been the same regardless of the outcome)
is simply manifest hold over frustration with Obama getting elected in
the first place. First the lunatic Birthers, then the outcry of the
bailouts and the Tea Parties. Then the ruckus at Town Hall meetings
about Obamacare. Bla Bla Bla...

Fact is if Obama FARTS the repugs will find something to nit-pick
about. They clearly have way too much time on their hands.

Oh, and just for the RGP repugs. I'll throw in the obligatory BUT BUSH
Factoid. Stop complaining about a waste of Taxpayer money for Obama
going to Copenhagen. The Brainchild BUSH jr. spent more time ON
VACATION than any other president in history all on the Taxpayers dime.
I didn't hear any of you complaining about that. Next time you're in
Dallas or Crawford ask for a 30% refund on your taxes for the 8 years
that BUSH was in office because thats the percentage of time he was on
Vacation.

Brazil is in the absolute center of the South Atlantic anomoly.

Hitler was up on the lack of magnetosphere, Einstien was his guy.
Brasillia was DESIGNED by "ex"- Nazis.

Basically the head of Nazi operations gets to build all sorts of
interestingly shaped stuff at the exact center of our softspot.

Will they build a device to protect the globe or to save themselves ?

I wonder if any of this matters, it's a new thought to me.

I've heard 2012 theories and few speak well for the masses.

On the positive side there is God who doesn't intervene much. Maybe he
will have his judgement day.

Jesus is hands down, the ultimate wildcard.

Jesus has not been in charge for Eris' flyby. Eris is on it's 7th of 7
passes that coincide with the 25,200 year cycles of the Galactic center
passing and the earths wobble.

There are a whole lot of cycles referred to by the ancients that are
measured in multiples that add up to 25,200. They are overlapping on the
same date.

It's GRAVITATIONAL FORCES. We are almost at the point where our planet is
amongst the most OTHER planets and STARS. All of these external forces
preturb the sun and all heavenly bodies. Perturbations cause vibrations
resulting in increased soalr activity, ground temprature, tectonic
movements. The electronic fields involved appear to be affecting the
magnetic orientation of our planet.

Obama said he would bring change and boy are we in for it.

You need to remember that all of this happens at a glacial rate. Once past
2012 then we will slowly cool. Time without a magnetosphere could be
really bad. The magnetosphere is what astronauts do not have. That's why
we cant stay out there forever, yet.

JESUS !

No serious stuff has waxed the Planet since he took over the family
business from Dad.
Many propecies point to a Messiah showing up around this time. Dates are
usually a little vague but most I've seen run between 2000 and 2050.

Aliens

Most ancients say we came from lizard people to some degree. If there were
aliens involved back then they have learned a lot in 6k years. Look what
man has done in 360 years.

The unrespected aspect of the Mayan concept was that by this time, man
would have learned so much that the EVER INCREASING rate would cross the
line of complete understanding of EVERYTHING. Once we know everything,
what happens ? Where does our quest for knowledge go ?

To the Mayans we are in for 1 of 2 things. We live on and become godly or
die off and start over.

Jesus hasn't allowed anything like this yet.

We have pretty much fulfilled the antichrist concept, mideast at war etc.

Aliens are smarter now and can help us more.

Someone will help us out.

Looks like to me that Obama just ran out of political power. He is in
power for 1 more year at best. He'll sit in the white house for 3 more
years, maybe 7.

The blame whitey tour just ended. I'm happy he is president. I wish his
connections were more based in the Northeast. The whole world just told
Chicago NO. The people in charge in Chicago haven't done too well for the
people there in this century. Finally a black guy became president and our
country is cleansed. None of us owned slaves and we elected a black guy.
Slavery is bad and i dont feel like i have to explain myself anymore.

I was sick of being blamed for slavery even though i have traced 400 years
of my geneology and my only relative involved with slavery freed more
slaves before they reached US shores than anyone else, ever.

Hopefully blacks and whites will feel equal now and we can deal with
something else.

Let's take this Kumbaya feeling and accept gays, yellows browns .....

IF Obama wants to get elected again, he should do a matching stimulus that
puts the same amount of money he just porked out into OUR pockets.

It was all pork, case closed, take your jersey rudy bullshit and sit down.

We have to pay for it. GIVE US the next round because we are buying anyway.

It is fairly obvious (to anybody with a brain) that Chicago was never
going to get the Olympics, but the reason the city was eliminated so
quickly was BECAUSE of the Obamas, not in spite of them.

Next time you big-brained geniuses find something to be "fairly obvious",
let the rest of us know beforehand.

I also look forward to hearing from these IOC voters who decided to
eliminate Chicago so quickly BECAUSE of the Obamas. Obviously they have
already been in touch with big-brained people such as yourself; hopefully
they will allow the rest of us access to their thoughts.

ButBush is somehow tossed into a discussion about the Obamalympics.
I bet the Olympic committe is run by Nazis or someone who is 10
generations removed from slave ownership, by marraige.

Try offering something good about Obama. You don't need to make up stuff
and butbush all the time.

Cheer up lil buddies. Nobamalympicz is true. Bush and Cheney didn't do it.
It's not Sean Hannity's fault. It's not because Obama is dark. Brasil
won. Just let it go, run along and watch your DVDs of Ren and stimpy or

Chicago was not only eliminated, it was the first city eliminated. Well
now Obama can get back to focusing on the really important stuff, like
black men getting arrested for disorderly conduct by white cops "acting

Well of course it was all Bush's fault. Not to mention the fact that
every one in the IOC is a racist. Well the good news is that now Obama
can focus on the really important stuff like black men being arrested for

disorderly conduct by white cops "acting stupidly".

Well there is only one solution to this problem. Obama, Pelosi and Reid
need to jam through another stimulus bill authorizing us to buy the IOC
and set up a new federal government bureaucracy to run it. Then have
ACORN handle the site selection voting process.

You can thank one person for loosing the Chicago Olympics - George W.

Its all Mike and the RWNuts have. They have to lie. Obama doesnt trash
this country. But the right wing nuts do and thats proven fact.

Personally, I believe Rio should have got it. The IOC may have done it
intentionally so they could give Reno, Nevada, the winter games. Theyd be
hard pressed to give both to the U.S.

But this is WAY beyond the thinking of the slow folks like Irish Mike. Hes
sure to dodge this, too.

Rio was a shoo-in. They had the whole "South America has never had an
Olympics" going for them and the IOC guys would rather spend time in
Rio than Chicago. Travel from Europe is going to be no more difficult
than it would be to Chicago and it's _Rio_ Sure there are acres and
acres of slum but Chicago has slum also and it's _Rio_

That it will let them give Reno the Winter Games is an angle I hadn't
thought of.

Obama again diminished the office of the president. This man has an ego
the size of the Empire State Building combined with the naivete of a high
school social studies student. Obama still believes that if he just shows
up and makes a speech, all the foreign leaders are going to bend over and
kiss his ass. North Korea spit in his face and Iran is playing him like a
fiddle. Our allies don't trust him and our enemies think he's weak. This
whole Olympic deal was just Obama's latest blunder on the international
stage.

Never. The good point was that there had never been an Olympics in
South America. The rest was apparently a lie. A lie can also be a good

I think more likely they decided against us because of our border policies

I heard this argument pretty persuasively argued elsewhere, but it got me to
wondering.

With the thousands of athletes, media, techs, tourists, and assorted
hangers-on piling through the US customs apparatus, wouldn't that be a
rather ideal vector to bring in some of those TERRORISTS conservatives are
always wetting their beds about?

Doesn't seem implausible to me. Stepped-up as the security would
undoubtedly be, does anyone believe they'd have a 100% anti-bad-guy success
rate?

Not saying, just saying, but what if Obama's intent was to lobby *against*
Chicago getting the games just to prevent possible terrorist incidents on US
soil during the Olympics?

Just *imagine* the political mileage the GOP would get out of that if it
happened.
