I have Skalansky's book 'Small Stakes Hold 'em - Winning Big With Expert
Play' and i really like it. Does anyone have any other recommendations for
books for games of this type?

Cheers,
~ck

He focuses more on passive opponents, I focus more on wild and crazy. I
talk about a wider range of game conditions than he does and he covers
turn/river play moreso than I do.

One of the reasons I didn't talk a lot about turn/river play is that in
the wild and crazy games by the time you get to the turn the pot is going
to be so big that most hands pretty much play themselves (pot odds
driven). I think I do a better job of covering odds than he does but I
don't point out the obvious applications of pot odds as much as he does.

The Jones book somebody else mentioned is also a good book but (at least
in early editions) when it comes to the loose games he doesn't get it
right. Miller gets the loose games pretty much right because he'd read my
book.

I like Miller's DVDs too. Not all of the content ("Adjusting Your Play"
is a little weak), but some good advice in there that goes beyond the
book.

I should also add that it's available at the best place to get all poker
merchandise - www.conjelco.com.

Fox (two BARGErs). It's available through the FPP store at Stars. It
only took about a week to receive it from the time of order.

This book focuses on the low dollar max buy-in games. I'm not done with
it, but it's well written.

The confusion is from the gitgo.

Miller and Sklansky did a book on nolimit.

And Miller Sklansky and Malmuth did a book on limit called Small Stakes
Holdem.

None of us have a clue what the OP is talking about (which I think
includes the OP).

For no limit, assuming that's what you really want, the Harrington on
Holdem books will serve you fine in any game that doesn't play
particularly shallow.

I would pay a lot if Carson would put his book on DVD starring Carson.

I bought the Miller book and i totally thought it was small stakes no limit.
Sorry for any confusion. I do like the book nonetheless.

The Miller book has a section on NL ( especially playing NL with a short
stack buy-in. Harrington's new book on cash NL games ( Vol 2 ) has a section
dealing with weak NL games ( which he generally catagorizes as up to 1/2
live and up to .10/.25 online games.
