expectation in 10/20

For the past few months I have been consistently pulling out about 3
big bets an hour in our local 10/20 game. The game consists of about
5-6 poor players 2 or 3 alright players and mabe 1 better player. Am I
just hot or can this be expected? I have not lost in 30 sessions, of
about 5 hours on avg.

3 big bets an hour is not an unreasonable expectation. If you're the
best player in the game, your expectation could be even better than
that. Add to that the fact that there are 5-6 poor players in the game
every time you play, and you have yourself a very juicy game. Good
job.

Chances are youre running hot. I went through a similar streak.I won 26
consecutive sessions, and was up approx. 4 big bets an hour. Starting on the
27th session, i went all the way to 34 either breaking even or losing a bit.

You failed to mention if you play in a public card room where there is
a rake or in a home game with no rake. In a public card room no one
[allow me to repeat myself], no one can make $60/hr playing 10-20.
It's conceivably possible in a home game with terrible players, but
unlikely. These guys here who are telling you that they make 3BB are
dellusional. And as such they are invited to play with me any day [I
live in Vegas, come and get it boys]. Obviously, you're just stating
out [the tell: you've won 30 sessions in a row and you're wondering if
you got lucky or if you're just that damned good. Most professional
playes will have this kind of streak about once in ten years. So
obviously you're running good! It shouldn't be a question]. The only
thing I can say is congratulations! Enjoy your victory, but be
prepared for a slowdown. Good luck!
