years before i arrived here, you people had managed to run off the
Skalansky's and the Barry Greensteins , and just about anyone else who
knows anything about poker

It is undisputed that Russ knows more about every aspect of the poker
world than anyone here.

It is also undisputed that after Russ comes me, and patti B. I think I
have more experience in live poker than Patti , and it is undisputed that
she knows more about epoker than I do .

OK .. MY POINT

You people have sYstematically managed to run off almost any and every one
who knows anything about poker .

There is a reason the big names dont post here .. AND IT AINT ME !!

The attack rats had run the big names off long before I knew this site
existed. Your biggest name player was Tony Poopjoy, a bullying , loud
mouth punk , who made one score in life and spent his whole life bullying
, and bragging to the Micro-Nits here.

Now , Russ has greatly diminished his involvement , and some of you have
rallied to try to Mass-KF me .

I have always stated that my knowledge comes in almost Forrest Gump like
fashion . I didnt alter poker , I didnt make anything happen . i just
happened to be near and around some funny shit , and some exceptionally
clever and funny poker players , dealers , and staff.

I GUESS MY QUESTION IS THIS :

If you run Russ off , and you run me off , and Patti B gets tired of
sorting through the childish crap, what do you have left ?

You have 11 Micro-nits arguing about how to play K9 off in 5-10 cent
limit, and 6 more morons claiming they got cheated every time they go
through a 12 dollar bankroll.

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE AFRAID OF ?

Are you afraid that you might learn how much you dont know about poker ?
Are you afraid to confront why so many of you cant win ?

IS IT REALLY BETTER TO REMAIN THAT IGNORANT?

They say if you take a dozen 3 year old monkies who have been raised
together , and paint one of them pink, and rerelease him into the same
group that they will kill him .

That is pretty much true here also.

Yes , it is true that I fell for every troll in the book , and I still get
grabbed about once a week , and yes I have in frustration lashed out in
ways that were inappropriate , for anyone here to think that they are any
different than me is absolutely ridiculous .

Most of you are here to do exactly the same things that you accuse me of .
All of you have more computer skills than I , but none of you have the
background , and the 'been there done that" , that I have . BUT ALMOST ALL
OF YOU HAVE GRUDGES , AND OBSESSIONS , AND 'SCORES " TO SETTLE , IN AN
AMAZINGLY CHILDLIKE FASHION.

When not under attack , I try to relate some funny shit. I have 30 years
around sports gambling , and every once in a while I try to point out some
of the funny shit in that venue.

And yes , i am much too quick to anger , and lash out in frustration at
the TVSM's .

But when you wonder why no one with any real poker knowledge will bother
to pass through here ..

BLAME THE ATTACK RATS , AND YOURSELVES

NOT ME !!

So you're implying that you belong in this crowd? I enjoy your
non-political posts, but I doubt if you would be sorely missed if you
decided to go somewhere else.

You might want to ask the Sklansky's, Greenstein's, etc. what they fear
here. I think when you say they were "run off" that is not accurate. A lot
of them came here with agendas to promote something or just thought they
would feed their egos. They didn't leave because of attack rats, they left
because for the most part poker is a seedy game and eventually they were
asked direct, difficult questions about it and they took offense and left.

Most of them just have thin skin and can not ignore the few idiots who do
attack for no reason. But, if they pros want a good poker discussion they
could definitely start one here if they tried. The exchanges between Caro,
Carson, Abdul, Steve Badger, (and many others) were pretty good for a long
time.

Russ has a personality that makes him pretty much immune from the nasty
personal attacks and it looks to me like you have some of that, too, but
guys like Negreanu, Leaderer, etc. aren't around here often enough to
recognize and ignore the trolls/flamers and they get caught up in the
negativity rather than the good disussion.

Plus, I suspect that many of them just got busy and RGP threads just aren't
that important in the scheme of things, especiall when they can put it in a
book and sell it rather than give it away here.

It is a shame, but on balance I like RGP the way it is.

That's possible. However, it is very unlikely that Sklansky, an
excellent example, would "be" here in any case. He has his own forum,
2+2, which is connected to the publisher of his books and his
publisher has practically _forbidden_ him to post here. Barry, on the
other hand, has posted here on rare occasion, even fairly recently. I
have had civil email communciations with him and he seems much more
likely to have better things to do than to have been "driven off"
RPG.

In general, the TV stars have other places to be on the internet,
places that have potential for profit for them. Negreanu, for example,
is (or was last time I looked) connected to an online poker site and
has his blog. UseNet in general is not as vigorous as it was even a
few years ago.

So the phenomenon you are bringing up is very minor. Why get excited
about it?

Will in New Haven
I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe.
Players taking forever, staring people down; in a two-four limit game.
I've seen a bracelet glimmer on a whale asking for a stake.
All this money will dissolve, like chips in rake.
Time to fold.

You bring up a good point, Will. I've been thinking about this regarding
myself. I'm debating whether I should continue to provide my comments to
RGP free of charge, or whether I should shoot for the big bucks too. Quite
a dilemma.

Mason Malmuth only lets Sklansky post on 2 + 2 any more, and there are
some people here who have shown a lot of hostility towards Mason Malmuth.
The only time Barry Greenstein ever posted here was whan Russ said he
wanted to play him.

Most people just give up when they see all the spam. You in particular,
didn't run off the good players, because they left years ago, but you are
like a spammer, 99% of what you post is total noise, and greatly
diminishes the S/N ratio here.

WTF are you talking about? Many of these posters weren't even here
when the battles were fought. If you're a 2, I'm a 10. I'm also equal
to any poster who ever posted on RGP. None of these people chased any
of these people off, I will take credit for all of that. Many of these
people even attacked me, but I DON'T QUIT, plus I know what questions
to ask, plus I know about every answer. If I don't know the answer,
there's a great chance I can get the answer.

I debated Sklansky, Caro, Shulman, Johnson, Doyle for a week (which he
was destroyed). Obviously I have people close to Doyle and Jack Binion
who told me what they told them. I have been/ am the first baby boomer
high roller in poker. I know who did what. Hanks, in my opinion has to
know more than you since he's older. He and I conversed a few months
ago, but to tell the truth (which I have), I didn't know him. As I
don't know Keiser (though, I'm told by too many he was around and I
had to know him). You post this BS, yet if you told me your name, it's
odds on I wouldn't know you either. All know me, or this discussion
wouldn't be going on.

I accused the people thought were poker hero's of being cheats, was
attacked by hundreds, but never stopped. Soon, the answers didn't make
sense to the regulars, plus too many contradictions by them.

Last week, you attacked me as not even being a poker player anyone
knew because no pictures of me were anywhere. Why in the hell would I
want pictures of me? I haven't been run off, I have never kill filed
anyone. I just don't read 10-20 cent poker. I don't cry, as I have
played the game by the rules the casino's allow.

I would debate anyone on poker strategy and cheating. I know who's who
and they underestimated my fortitude. So much BS came from their
mouths, most posters realized I was telling the truth. First Keiser
says I'm losing 100k in Vegas in the 70's playing craps or BJ, next
I'm driving and living in a cab.

Doyle states I'm blackmailing them for 100k to be split 3 ways, so I
give away 100K. People will believe just so much, for so long, before
opinions change. Bush is an example as we now have Obama.

I'm not leaving RGP, but I was never on RGP. The reason it seemed I
was on RGP, was because it was the only way to get the info out.
Players have known me for over 40 years and they know I'm a high
stakes player and heads-up specialist in all games.

There was never any poker knowledge given on RGP, until I started
posting it. First post on poker theory, Mike Caro accuses me of
plagerism:). Must have hit the motherload?

Plus, I know everyone personally and was there long before most. Now
stop your BS doogy-K9 or whoever you are, as I don't even care. I
post, people read. It's hard to post against me as I'll make you look
like a fool, as I did with Sklansky, Doyle and the others. I'm TOP DOG
on RGP and am one of the biggest winners in poker history, including
online. I'm just lazy on certainthings and like to attack people who
have credibility who are liars. You know a lot about the industry, but
if you could play, you wouldn't have worked. I helped many people on
RGP in financial matters. I'll never disclose them. Many have screwed
me. Who cares? My word is my bond and many take it for what it is
worth. I'm not trying nor have I ever tried to scam RGP. It was the
only outlet to get the truth out. Any BIG GAME left?

I attack names, not anonyRuss names. I am the KING of POKER. I have
lived a KINGS life from POKER and I'm farther advanced than Sklansky,
Caro or anyone who has ever played. I just don't care about much
except my word and NUMBER 1, my CATS. I help out total strangers for

Cut to the chase: what is your net worth after a lifetime of cheating,
then not cheating playing poker, and now being the KING of poker? New
ones just now embarking on a life of poker would be interested in what
to expect at the top of the heap of poker, compared to the top of
selling insurance, or doing brain surgery.

I should be like the guys who leave their millions and billions to
charity or the governement? I have lived like a KING (my style
anyway). When I was 19, I was making more money than any athlete.
Baseball had a minimum of 7K a year and the highest paid was about
100K in any sport. I did whatever I wanted all of my life and bought
whatever I wanted all of my life, not counting doing whatever I wanted
all of my life.

I guarantee my quality of life beats most billionaires, since I
started making GIANT money when I was still in my teens. Plus, I had a
great body and was a pretty boy. I have no children, just some cats. I
wouldn't have them except a wife wanted pets and then wanted to get
rid of them. Every old time poker player knows I was the first high
roller in POKER, having bankrolls of about a million in my early 20s.
I spend my money, instead of leaving it to Hope, Charity and the
government. My cats have a 250K life insurance policy.

So basically you are living hand-to-mouth now. Nothing wrong with that,

I assume that you mean RGP when you say "this site". I am guessing
there are less than 500 people who have posted here in the past year.
Are you saying that you spend more than $200K a year on hookers? Or
champagne? That's way too much for hookers.

You say you have accounts receivables in the 7 figures. How much of
that is really collectible? Mark it to market.

Your keep your cash in a buried box. Interesting.

Look, I'm not picking a fight with you. You have obviously live a full
life on your own terms, and have posted colorful details of such to RGP.
I do think that you are living on past glories, and exaggerating your
present achievements. I'll probably do the same in my years of
decrepitude. : )

I drank Dom Perignon in the casino's and had a special price. I now
drink Piper Heinseck at a 1/3 the price and always liked it more. I
had orgies that cost 10K a night, like people going to the movies. I
don't judge, as I live. I've had too many women fall in love with me
and I'm not the caring type. I help most people who are honest with
me. I'm an animal lover. I've been with 10,000 women, if I've been
with one. My first wife was 21, second 19 and the third 18. All
gorgeous. I never cheated on a wife, but most women want to much
attention and I wasn't able to give it to them. The one thing Hugh
Hefner and I had in common. When he asked a girl to go out with him,
she said she never had been out with anyone over 23. He said, that's
the same with me. Well, it's the same with me also. One exception was
a poker player that lost over 100k to me one night in the late 90's.
Most of what's owed to me won't ever be collected, but I have some
GREAT friends. The thing I tell all of them is the following, don't
ever say anything good about me. This way I get the best info. In the
old days, the best thing you could do was keep a low profile. These
days, things have changed. I'm old and sick now (61). Many don't think
that's old. But I could get girls in their 20s in my 50s since I
looked fourty. Now I just don't care. You think all these high stakes
players know me because I played small? Sexton and others have stated
no one beat me heads-up.

As far as money buried in a box, you think I need 4% on it? Too many
questions would appear if it was in the bank.

In my experience the people who really have money don't talk about it.

Do you have an ass whole? I ask because it may be an ass half? If you
have an ass whole, then you have an opinion, even though it's half
ass.

We can't have everything, can we? I'd like to be back at 21. Already
lived longer than anyone in my family. Never knew my maternal
grandparents as they died before I was born. Parents died in my 20's.
Siblings died in my 30s. Too many hamburgers and fries.

Hey Will,
Not related - your sig closely reminds me of that final agonic
monologue by the android in Blade Runner. To me, one of the most
moving scenes in a movie.
Is it?

Sure. There are several sigs on UseNet that use that speech as a
basis. I did that one, one for the bridge newsgroup and two for
different cat newsgroups.
It is pretty interesting that Rutger Haur took the original
screenwriter's speech, which was like nothing in the book _Do Androids
Dream of Electirc Sheep_ and ad-libbed a shorter and, I think, better
version.

Imagine, if you will, Peter, FagBanger making this statement. LOL.

Reasons;

1. Doggy
2. Spammers
3. Russ (pertaining to big names only)

No offense, Russ.

Well I've heard utopia doesn't exist, but that sure would be a big step in
the right direction.
