And I'm happy for her. But I don't understand how this will work.
She will get ANOTHER jury to decide the penalty, but how can a jury
that has not sat through the whole trial then decide what her fate
will be?

What really gets me is all these people out in front of the
courthouse, not even related to anyone, flying in from other parts of
the country for this. What a bunch of blood thirsty animals!
Sickening!

By the way, Travis was a pig. And so is Nancy Grace.

How did you develop such a soft spot for female psychopaths?

I'm telling you, over the last few months I've found myself thinking
about her all day. I'll be at the casino, sitting there playing video
poker, and I'll be thinking, "I wonder how Jody is doing. Damn that
girl fucked up."

Seriously, I think she's a nice girl. This Travis guy baptized her at
the Mormon thing and then brought her right to the bedroom and fucked
her in the ass right after the baptismal. He was a total pig. There
is no way they should execute this girl.

HEY LOOK! Those black animals in Nashville killed those two white
kids and even THEY didn't get the death penalty. What the FUCK! And
someone's going to tell me that this sweet little thing deserves the
death penalty? I don't think so. This is a well-educated,
articulate, and beautiful girl. She would have walked if I was on the
jury.

Speaking of lawyers, have you seen this mamaluke who is representing
Travon's people? He can barely speak ebonics, how does he get a law
degree? You should at least be able to compose a coherent sentence to
pass the BAR.

Well, I'm not up on all the details but let me ask this- she drove 1,400
miles so she could slit his throat in self defense? That doesn't compute
very well.

Don't be so cynical. Try to see the good in people.

I believe he was a pig. No, he didn't deserve to die because of it.
But I believe the stuff that came out in the trial, he used and abused
her. In an interview YESTERDAY, she says she's still in love with
him. Now that's whacked. So she's whacked, she should get life,
possibility of parole in 25 years, not execution.

She'll be my age in 25 years. I'll wait for her.

If we allowed people to be murdered simply for being a pig we'd need a new

Most of us look for a lack of a criminal record when seeking “the one,” but some people are drawn to bad boys, people with checkered pasts, and yes, even convicted murderers. A majority of those attracted to inmates are women and not nearly are as crazy as we’d imagine. As author Sheila Isenberg explains, “Although some have been victims of abuse and violence, many of the women vulnerable to these relationships know exactly what they are getting into, but their capacity for denial and their need for a safe, idealized, romantic fantasy of love transcends judgment.” Recently, notorious wife-killer Scott Peterson has reportedly received a number of marriage proposals, and spoiled Aruban sociopath and alleged murderer of Natalee Holloway claims women are knocking down his door begging to be Mrs. Joran Van Der Sloot. Here is a look at fifteen people whose marriages took place in a jailhouse.

This is not a career criminal we're talking about. Jodi has
essentially been a bright and beautiful, and nice girl, all her life.
She just made one mistake. That's less mistakes than I've made, so
maybe she would be a good influence on me.

I already follow her Twitter feed, and I'm thinking of writing to
her. I've never been married, but have always felt that I was saving
myself for that one lucky girl. I think we have a winner.

Have to admit, even though you've written a tonne of posts about her
on RGP, my interest was never sufficiently aroused to even google her.

And then just the other day someone posted a link (to I forget what
sort of news story) and in the sidebar was another link to a Jodi
Arias story, so I decided to click on that.

Turns out it was a montage of pictures with a fairly brief description
underneath each one. Perfect!

I have to say, she *was* a very attractive girl, certainly dolled up,
that was obvious from quite a lot of the pictures so I can understand
where you're coming from. There were also some other pictures which
showed the mess she made of her boyfriend with a knife and some
pornographic ones too. It's an interesting story.

By the way, what have they done to Flicker? I am so sick of them
changing Facebook and Twitter and now Flicker, I'm going to dumb all
of it if they don't stop messing with it.
