Cook Medical says it won't build five Midwest plants due to med-tech tax

http://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/news/2012/07/30/cook-medical-med-tech-tax-plans.html

"A study commissioned last year by the Advanced Medical Technology
Association said Minnesota could lose more than 2,700 med-tech jobs
because of the tax. Minnesota has nearly 25,000 med-tech workers and is
home to several med-tech companies in the Twin Cities area, including
Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) and St. Jude Medical Inc. (NYSE: STJ)."

"The company is trying to figure out how much of the tax it can pass on to customers."
"We're going to have to make the tradeoffs."
"Waa! Waa! We don't get our special tax break."

Yea, right, they sold you on their story that they'll have to lay off 11% of their workers and they just can't open five new plants because of a smaller profit margin. They'd rather lose money and lose business to other companies.

You should be in politics; lobbyists love people they can bullshit.

Jerry, since you continue to stalk me, let me respond.

Do you think the bizjournal are lobbyists?

Do you think I wrote that?

Jerry doesn't think, ever.

HAR! At least you got a laugh out of me. I have always charged that you refuse to answer questions or address the post; but that you simply ask a question.

Sure enough.
