You can't elect a Presidential candidate who is a pathological liar.
You can't elect a Presidential candidate who supports a federal ban on
handguns.

race which should have been a slam dunk for us into a close race which
the Democrats will probably lose.
For months, the polls have shown a generic Democratic candidate
beating a generic Republican candidate by double digits.
The economy is in the ditch. We are waging an unpopular war which
McCain supports. McCain is closely tied to Bush, the most unpopular
President in history.
Yet the polls show a close race, with McCain leading in some tracking
polls. Why is that?
Because Obama is the weakest candidate the Democrats have ever
nominated. Weaker than McGovern. Weaker than Dukakis. Weaker than
Kerry.
Obama is inexperienced and untested. He has gotten by his entire life
on his good looks, winning smile, engaging personality, and oratorical
skills.
The Democrats rejected the most qualified Presidential candidate since
Adlai Stevenson. Hillary would have crushed McCain. No question.
After Obama had locked up the nomination, I decided I would still vote
for him, because I am a lifelong Democrat.
The turning point for me was when he came out in favor of legalizing
same sex marriage. Please don't tell more Obamaton lies and claim
that is not his position.
He opposes the California initiative which would outlaw same sex
marriage. Due to a court decision, the status quo in California is
that same sex marriage is legal. Since Obama opposes an initiative
which outlaws same sex marriage, he therefore supports keeping same
sex marriage legal in California.
QED.
Please do not tell me that I am not a Democrat if I oppose legalizing
same sex marriage. That is precisely the position of Howard Dean,
John Kerry, and John Edwards.
Even after Obama's shameless pandering to gays and lesbians, who
constitute 2% of the adult population, I decided I would not vote for
McCain if he chose either Romney or Lieberman as his running mate.
According to the latest news reports, he has chosen Sarah Palin,
Alaska Governor and former Miss Alaska.

Typically, 60% to 70% vote to outlaw same sex marriage.
