I think inductance cant be regulated to maintain a 50 to 60 cycle
frequency and RF current is a by-product.

60 Hz is not a "band", but it's in the low part of the RF spectrum. Usable

RF frequencies CAN be generated during switching. I was in charge of a new,
governmental experimental 500KV SF-6 switching station that was built in
Montana. (Montana didn't want it, but we forced it on them. The picked a
spot, high in the Bitterroot Mountians). During energizing and phasing we
discovered some SF-6 switching cause high frequency pulses; at the switching
location. (Google Taft Montana in Google Earth and look about 3 or 4 miles
north).
There are some power lines that have low power, low frequency signals
imposed on them for Transfer Trip, and various other data, but much less
power than your local AM radio signal. It's trapped out as it reaches the
station.

There have always been discussion about the fields surrounding AC lines.
When we put in the million volt DC line from The Dalles Oregon to LA, the
government fenced in a herd cows under the lines for extensive tests. No bad
results. There is STILL talk about the RF that comes from cell phones. They
keep saying there's no danger. I still call I microwaving your brain, when
you place your cell phone next to your head. Who knows?

Utility lines carries high voltage at the Frequency rate of 50/60
hertz which is the rate the generator creates it in revolutions of
cycles per second(pulses)!
Harmonicis venture into various ranges throughout the mega/giga hrz
range( commanly refered to as Radio Frequency spectrum)
This is the very reason Tesla disagreed with Hertz. hertz says it is
stable and does not vary off frequency, where as Tesla said if there

Radiofrequency is everything longer wavelength than microwaves. At least, it
is on every spectrum I have ever seen.
Not in the business, but I used to tutor physics to 1st & 2nd year
university students. emf and EMR are two different things.
