Not only is Obama leading, but the poll also found that by a 2-1 margin,
Americans like Romney less the more they find out about him.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/obama-holds-edge-over-romney-in-general-election-matchup-poll-finds/2012/02/05/gIQA5JX0sQ_story.html

Overall, 55 percent of those who are closely following the
campaign say they disapprove of what the GOP candidates have
been saying. By better than 2 to 1, Americans say the more
they learn about Romney, the less they like him. Even among
Republicans, as many offer negative as positive assessments
of him on this question. Judgments about former House speaker
Newt Gingrich, who denounced Romney on Saturday night in
Nevada, are about 3 to 1 negative.

Ouch.

Totally meaningless "opinion at the moment" polling categories that
can and, have repeatedly, become obsolete overnight, throughout this
current election cycle.

It's like the stock market: up and down. It's in no way to be taken as
permanent. It's merely a "snapshot in time," current trend. When
there's an actual Republican nominee, no one will care or remember how
"negative" the Republican primary was or wasn't.

The 2008 Democrat primary between Hillary and Barry was negative, but
it didn't hurt Barry in beating the Republican, McCain, in the general
election, for example.

The media just runs those polls, now, to give themselves "talking
points."

The "v. Obama" polls mean jackshit until after the two conventions.
They're not really much more than novelty polls at this point in the
proceedings.

Rasmussen poll out today: Obama 46%- Newt 43%.

That's a virtual tie, and Obama way under 50% v. Newt.

Exactly. That was obviously the point. Up and down like the stock
market.

Quick, how many delegates did Santorum win?

They were all non-binding, you idiot, where the eventual delegates,
assigned at a later date at their respective state conventions, aren't
bound to Tuesday's election results. That doesn't mean that Santorum
won't get the delegates at those later dates, retard. In fact, he'll
probably get the lion's share.

Quick, which candidate is was severely embarrassed and their
"nomination-inevitablity" was ruined. That's right, everyone: Romney.

Quick, which dumbass said that Romney can't lose and is definitely the
nominee? That's right, everyone: Splashie.

Quick, who's consistently the dumbass who, due to "knowing a little is
dangerous" idiocy, always gets their ass-kicked. That's right,
everyone: the dumbass Splashie.

Santorum the religious zealot doesn't have a prayer.

He very well may overdo the "evangelical-religious appeal" pitch, and
become identified as a one-issue niche candidate like Bachmann, but
he's hardly a "zealot." There hasn't been one Republican candidate
that even remotely come close to being extreme in any way. Your anti-
religion bigotry is the extreme.
