His strategy is to skip the two early matches and go all out later, particularly in Florida. This is well off the conventional wisdom and seems to me to be completly crazy. But if it works . . .

He participated in Iowa and he is participating in New Hampshire, he just chose not to compete all-out in either place so that he can stay viable until Florida which is a must-win for him. He actually decided a few weeks ago to spend additional time in Iowa hoping to finish in 3rd place, but right before New Years his campaign concluded that this was not possible so he immediately went to Florida. He is still hoping to finish 3rd in New Hampshire, and has spent a decent amount of time there over the past few months.
It was actually a good result for Guiliani that Huckabee won. Guiliani is not worried about Huckabee in the states that Guiliani is strong. the bad result for Guiliani would have been if Romney won Iowa and then New Hampshire. Now it appears that McCain will win New Hampshire, which means Romney is toast. In the end it will be between McCain and Guiliani.

I guess you're using a looser definition of "participate" than I am. He skipped the Straw Poll completely, and didn't even show up in Iowa for the Caucus.

I guess it's ok that he regards the Second Amendment as an unfortunate inconvenience only bothers liberals. He was a prosecutor, he is a prosecutor and he will always BE a prosecutor. He will never take an individual's rights seiously against the state. It is not that he would use power for evil purposes. He just doesn't believe his use of power, albeit for good purposes, should ever be checked. Now that is someone who ought to worry conservatives.

But that would mean you can't vote for the guy who believes Jesus is going to return to Earth at a yet to be built temple in Missouri. Choices are hard, huh mo?

a great complaint. my major bitch with him is that he appointed a crook as the chief law enforcement officer of new york city. he even recommended the guy for a national post of similar scope. giuliani's a piece of shit who shouldn't even be considered, but if the libs of this ng wanna cry about him.....

the absolute worst candidate the last umpteen elections has been dennis kucinich; i didn't vote for him. ralph nader's a dumper too; i didn't vote for him either. i did, however, vote for the green party last election - over and over and over - to support the concept of more political options. that's depite thinking they actually ARE the worst party ever conceived. bush is STILL better than kerry, and i'd STILL vote for bush before edwards (though i'd likely abstain).

i'm currently only lecturing a dumb filly who can't do math. i admitted regretting my first vote for bush because i felt gore wouldn't have made the same catastrophic blunders. who knows, he may have made worse blunders. but not asserting my general perfection was a big leap for me, and i think you should applaud my efforts. even a tiny dash of humility ain't easy for a fucking genius like me.

I am very much against irrationality in general, especially in government. Why is that hard to understand?

what's hard is understanding your hatred of everything religious. did an angel shove his wing up your ass?

Do you believe in angels?

If Giuliani's term as Mayor of NYC had ended on 9/10/2001, he would be vaguely remembered today as one of the most unpopular, polarizing New York politicians in recent memory. That he somehow managed to be canonized as "America's Mayor" for simply doing his job in the aftermath of 9/11 is a mystery to most New Yorkers; that this somehow transforms him into some sort of expert on National Security matters would be laughable (one might also note his earlier decision to put the city's emergency response bunker right in the middle of the only site in the city that had ever been a previous terrorist target, rendering it useless when the site was attacked again) if it wasn't so serious a matter.
Moreover, the reduction in crime so highly touted as his chief accomplishment as Mayor, came as a direct result of policies instituted by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, who was appointed by his predecessor David Dinkins, and whom current Mayor Mike Bloomberg immediately re-appointed on taking office to replace Rudy's corrupt flunkie Bernie Kerick (currently under indictment on a variety of felony charges for abusing his office), leading to even more spectacular reductions in the crime rate than under Giuliani.
Of course, there are things for liberals to like about Rudy: he's pro-gun control, pro-choice, and lived with gay friends while his marriage was breaking up. On the other hand, that, and his very public adultery will hardly endear him to the Republican Party base...
Still thinking about voting for him? ;-)

Don't forget that he also built a massive fuel tank right into the building, as if they needed more flammable shit in there. An unprotected 6,000 gallon fuel tank. Kaboom. Fuckin mental wizard.

Well, that pretty much seals it. You haven't learned a damn thing.
