Tiger had a tough day, but he is back. He WILL win this year. Phil is the
man, as always.

i was just havin fun with this post..BUT .. Tiger will NEVER be back....
he is now simply one of the "logo-clods" now

he no longer dominates in any department

there are 20 great players and he might squeak out a win here or there ,
but his math will never be like it was

he is not in the top 5 and might very well not be in the top 10

I should clarify. I do believe Tiger will be back in the top 10 again at
some point before he retires, and I think he will win another major or
two. No, he won't be TIGER like he was before, but nobody will be again.
I think Tiger will win more than the average tour pro for the next few
years though. He is playing pretty well again. Tiger and Phil playing
well makes for people watching PGA events.

Should be, "... folds up like a cheap suitCASE."

You're welcome.

right about the "watching" thingy.. when tiger holed out from the trap on
12 ...I was ready for a thrill ride for the rest of the round

alas.. he is mere mortal now

I thought Wi had the poignant story: 40 years old, career-long
journeyman with zero wins but several runner-ups, played with Tiger as
kids, led going into this final round.

And he *four* putted on the first hole to lose.

i know what pressure does to you on a putt for 200 bux .. but i dont think
anyone can imagine what it must be like in that spot on the PGA tour

must be crushing

Tiger Woods has been in a pattern where he can't put four good rounds
together. Either his putting sucks overall or it's the driver. And
that's in his better tournaments.

It seems more likely that he'll get worse rather than better in the
future.

NFW, Travel. Tiger did scold a few today. But he had some great shots (and
great rounds).
Phil was hot. It was awesome. However, there is no way that Tiger will get
worse before getting better. I'm sorry. Just NFW!

RazzO, Tiger Woods has been choking for three years. And he's not
getting any younger.

"Some" great shots and "some" great rounds isn't enough.

When Arnold Palmer lost his putting, for example, he still made some
great shots and had some great rounds, but he never "came back."

It takes consistent play over four rounds, and a win. In Tiger Woods'
category, he has to win multiple tournaments a year and at least a
major for a "come back."

It's been three years of bad play for Tiger Woods. The "percentages"
don't look good.
