(LAS VEGAS, NV) – In an interview with Las Vegas political journalist Jon
Ralston on the “Ralston Reports” show, Wynn Resorts Ltd. CEO Steve Wynn
says he had an opportunity to partner with investors on a convention-type
resort across from Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.

“That would have been an investment of $2 billion and created at least
another 10,000 regular jobs. I could do that and we could get the money,”
Wynn said.

I've always been a big Steve supporter, going back to the Mirage-opening
days. The man delivers.

He's given great interviews about Obama being an economic disaster.

so like I said before, which you denied - You see no problem with the loss
of 10,000 potential jobs in Vegas. Thats all you have to say Forex - no
need to dodge.

Just another case of you making another position for me; then arguing that made up position. Now we get to the part of your postings where you change your own position, then apologize with another "I was wrong."

See where the SS came from?

Every club I ever worked at the dealers shared tips with the floor.

So what about him being one of the biggest, if not the biggest employer in
Vegas and not adding 10,000 new jobs because of Obama's policies?

I guess Las Vegas doesn't have an unemployment problem, right? I mean the
355 city out of 371 isn't all that bad, is it?

Do you think Vegas has enough hotel rooms right now or not? If Vegas
was not over-built right now 'ole Stevie would be building regardless
of Obama. He's just trying to influence the vote in NV for Romney
along with his friend ("Mr Magoo with an edge" as Stevie likes to
call him! LOL) Adelson but unfortunately for him, the Reid machine ,
the unions and the Hispanic vote will make sure Obama wins.

All major economic indicators are up. Stock Market near an all time high. Your 401k near an all time high. GDP up. Disposable personal income up. Retail sales up. Consumer spending up. Profits for businesses are near a record high. Bank lending is up. Foreclosures are down. Home sales are up. Jobless calms are at a 4-year low. Housing prices are up. Home construction up 15%. Unemployment is down. Consumer confidence is up. Rise in housing values. New home constructions up. Car sales up (116%). Retail sales up. Jobs up. Wall Street rolling in money. Corporations all making money. Interests rates as low as ever.

No, not bad at all.

With regard to the Wynn Las Vegas tipping issue. I reposted my comments
on this, below.

I posted this on a Vegas board at the time that this issue was current.
My reply (as"I wrote") follows the "Esquirejoe" post, below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EsquireJoe wrote:
First, I agree with Truman, that we really don't know what actually
happened. Either she or Wynn management could be right, or (maybe more
likely) they both could be wrong.

However, I have to say that Wynn's management has handled all of these
employee issues as badly as they possibly could have from the very
beginning. From putting the tip sharing policy in place and telling the
dealers to just live with it (instead of perhaps giving them prior
notice and phasing the full policy in over time), to publicly
disparaging employees who have filed suit and counter-suing for
attorneys' fees, to firing employees after they've filed NLRB complaints
- it has all been terribly handled.

I'm not saying that this dealer didn't violate a company policy, but the
reality of business is that, if you have an employee you'd like to get
rid of (for whatever reason), and you think the employee might be likely
to cause the company liability as a result of his/her termination, you
go out of your way to make sure that they are given every chance to save
their job, and when you eventually terminate them, you make damn sure
that their poor performance or other grounds for termination is VERY
well documented.

And if that employee has already filed a very public complaint? I'm not
saying it's right or fair or good for society, but firing that person
should be the LAST thing you do. It's just the way the world works.

I know that I don't really have all of the facts on what's going on
internally with Wynn, but from what I see, their attorneys have got to
start reigning them in and stop them from repeatedly publicly shooting
themselves in the foot.

I wrote:

You're careful to state that you don't know what's going on, yet you
then proceed to characterize Wynn Las Vegas as being at fault.

It's a pretty cut and dry situation. Wynn Las Vegas made changes in a
certain area of their business, and it's all legal. End of story.

The controversy is caused by the employees who think that they can sue
their way into undermining the authority of their employers, and get
away with insubordination. They should be fired. Steve Wynn has
conducted himself admirably thoughout the entire process.

It's a breath of fresh air that the odious onslaught of socialism has
met it's match in Nevada.

Companies all over the country are constantly making internal changes
that do not exactly make everyone happy. This situation at Wynn Las
Vegas is no different. It's not a big deal. The complaints and law suits
are without merit, and any outrage should be directed at the disruptive
dealers involved.

1.)The labor commission rejected the dealer complaints.

2.) The "two dealers" suit was thrown out of court.

3.) The "two dealers" case was thrown out because they should have
appealed the labor commissions decision.

4.) "The dealers" lawyers didn't appeal the labor commissions decision
because they had nothing to appeal. They were wrong and they knew it.

5.) The "two dealers", after losing the labor decision, sued Wynn Las
Vegas solely to pressure Wynn Las Vegas through adverse publicity. They
had no case in court and they knew that, also, because there is a
tailor-made precedent against them.

6.) Under these circumstances, it's completely understandable that Wynn
Las Vegas would attempt to recover legal fees from a meritless case
borne of nothing more than harassment.

You also have a Republican congressman that says he's pro life but had an affair; recorded himself asking her to get an abortion; let his wife listen to the recording in an attempt "to show her I'm trying to be a better family man," and testified to this in court.

This is deceptive, because to offset this there could be a black
billionaire prick somewhere who will hold a grudge if Romney wins and
refuse to build something somewhere. I know, it's hard to believe a
Democrat would be that spiteful, but it's at least possible, so you have
to take that into account.

How many times have I said that right-wingers are boycotting the Obama
economy? I think this is a pretty good case in point.
