Couple of hours in I got moved to a table and some kid in a cub scout
uniform , complete with headphones and hoodie was on a bit of a "rush"..
he ran his chips up to around 24-25k and talking the whole time about lame
shit like "having someone dominated" , and he was making "boats" ..you
know typical TVSM shit .
Now this hand comes up . he is the BB for 600, and guy up front who hadnt
played a hand since people wore Walkmans, scoots for 4800..everyone folds
to him in the BB who gives it the old "hollywood" bullshit with the phony
appearance of checking how much is in the pot and cutting the call down
out of his chips and seeing how much it would leave him
ALL THE LAME TVSM SHIT !!
he then calls . the all-in man turns over KK and "sparky" proudly displays
the 9-4 of clubs !!!
this fuckin moron who had been using all the lame ass TVSM "tag lines "
about donkeys and pot odds just called about 20% of his chips with 9-4 OF
FUCKING CLUBS.
Then he said he had hoped he had "2 live cards". I said ,'you do and you
better hit one of em twice !!"
I nearly pissed myself laughing and just had to ask him .."What exactly
were you thinking about when you were doing all the hollywood bullshit
counting your chips and taking all that time ...CUZ IT DAMN SURE WASNT
ANYTHING POKER RELATED.
HE LOOKED AT ME WITH A PUZZLED LOOK AND i SAID "yOU BETTER COME UP WITH AN
ANSWER BECAUSE NOBODY WHO KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT POKER WOULD HAVE MADE THAT
CALL "
His little tiny head withdrew into the hoodie and he wasnt heard from
again .
MAYBE POKER WILL LAST A WHILE LONGER
