Could someone give me some technical advice on this? I put Pickle in my
killfile and he's still showing up. I use the recgroups newsreader. Am I
entering the filter information wrong?
By the way, Pickle- nice spelling on Petraeus's name. It takes a Louisiana
lawyer to display erudition like that. Not to worry though. I'll have this
filter issue solved soon.

Typo? Petraius rather than Petraeus? The 'i' isn't anywhere near the 'e'
on a keyboard. And "Petraeus's" is correct.
In usage an apostrophe without an "s" following an "s" is acceptable but
it is not required. "s's" is equally acceptable.
And what kind of a sentence is this: "What a word ends in s it s . . ."?
Is someone supposed to understand what that means without guessing?
But I'm getting a little carried away here. I know you probably went to
public school in Louisiana, Pickle, so I apologize for criticizing your
spelling. I attribute this nitpicking to annoyance over not being able to
killfile your posts. I will be taking this "senior member" BS up with Paul.

Tim (and Larry) ... risky is pretending to correct himself and making a mistake in the correction as well ... and the real humor is his pretending that he cannot figure out how to killfile himself.

ok, I looked it up and you are correct. Now, show you can also be a
gentleman and stop posting with my handle. Confine your posts to
‘risky biz’ and stop posting as ‘da pickle’. Everybody knows it’s you
anyway and I’d appreciate it.

That's a pretty funny request you're making because I've been trying to
figure out if this is the "real" Pickle or the "fake" Pickle. If you're
the "fake" Pickle you're subtly making fun of the "real" Pickle. If you're
the "real" Pickle you're delusional. LOL.

And if I determine that this is the "real" Pickle I will killfile you
immediately because I have gotten tired of your constant whining that I'm
posting with your screen name.

Everybody doesn't know it. You and Travel "know" it.
