I can cut her a break on the military thing. Her oldest son, (with the very
odd name of "Track") enlisted in the Army and she appears to have been
personally involved in military matters, through Track and also as Governor
as commander of the National Guard units, in such a way that I don't
perceive her Fort Hood activity as out-of-line with her usual actions.

I'm reading Palin's book, which addresses some facets of the presidential
campaign and therefore is properly subject to fact checking.
I did not read Obama's books, but I think they are more in the nature of his
opinions and philosophy, which are things not really susceptible to fact
checking by the media. I could be wrong about that, though.
