My boss's boss plays 50 play Triple Double Bonus on quarter denom. Since
the beginning of the year, he's up "quite a bit" (including several dealt
quads with kickers, including aces w/kicker - I have a pic, and it's quite
a sight!) "Quite a bit" means quite a bit.

Last time I was in Vegas my cabby gave me a lecture on how to play TDB and
the reason not to stay in a casino until you are dead broke. it's because
you'll be dead broke... and presumably have to take up employment as a
cabby, though that last bit went unsaid. Been awhile since I really
played video pokers. I just don't bother unless I'm in Nevada these days.

Action Gaming had a Quick Quads Wheel Poker tournament contest for the
launch of the game ... I was playing, and they give you an option on which
game to play, so of course I pick TDB. I got dealt aces w/kicker. I was so
pissed I missed a dealt aces w/kicker cycle on a stupid contest. To make
it worse I didn't place because the other 199 hands in the session were
terrible (TDB is good, and TDB is bad). It's still hard to get over it...

Yeah, I was never an action junkie. If the incentive was there I'd get on
a rollercoaster game, but all things being equal I almost always chose the
game with lower volatility. PE with a load of bennies was my dream game.
