corrupt some one. For a card room to be a high stakes card room, it must
keep a nucleus of high stakes games. For this to happen, you must
have a nucleus of players. You may be under the impression that the pro
cheaters go where the action is, but you would be wrong. The action comes to
them.
Old cliché's like "I know the game is crooked, but it's the only game in
town", came out of somewhere. The truth is the live ones need the action and
the cheats need the money. There is always a casino out there that will
accept the cheating. Where would you expect the cheats to be for example?
The professional cheats are where the money is. They are well organized,
like the Mafia as I have told people before. This is a multi-billion dollar
business and more people are getting addicted than ever.
If you were one of the best in the world at cheating, where would you be?
Would you be in Iowa, playing for $5 dollar bills, or in Vegas playing for
the sky? The problem is the cheats have their roots so deep into management
it is almost impossible to separate these two. Cheats go to one place and
one place only, where they can cheat. This has to make sense. For if they
didn't cheat, they wouldn't be cheats.
The lives ones go to the casinos that have the action. The cheats are the
ones that put on this show. They travel in packs and start games for the
house, knowing a live one will soon enter the action to be cheated. People
just don't understand how deep this really goes. This is like a tree that
has lived since the day poker started. Once you get one member of management
corrupted, you go for two. This is easy, as the other guy will recommend a
friend or the cheats will come with a person.
Remember, all of the big shots of poker have been around since the seventies
or before. I am not talking about tournament players. This is a different
kind of cheating. This avenue was created back in the seventies to get fresh
live ones to the table. Here was a way of marketing that anyone could win on
any given day. This is true to a large point. tournaments are more honest
than high stakes poker. But you have to realize, this isn't saying that
much. High stakes poker is as corrupt as any thing that has ever been. The
same people are in power that have been for the last 25 years. Logic alone
dictates that cheats would be at the top of this game.
Logic tells you the best players would also be the best cheats. There is
nothing that could stop me from going into a card room and beating the
highest stakes games in the world. Nothing but the cheats who control the
management in those casinos. It would be easy for me to go into a casino and
play by my self honestly for a month or two and become acquainted with other
players. remember the other cliché's, "birds of a feather". Where did all
the cliché's come from? All it takes to start is for two friends to say,
lets split what we win and let it go from there..
To be able to cheat any game, all you have to do is start infiltrating. One
by one you build up your scamming team. You start off with two of you
playing the same money. Shortly after you add another player as you feel
others out, people who play well become desperate. Many need to be staked.
This is an indicator for a start.
Once you start staking some one, he knows even if you are playing honestly,
he must win to have money. He also knows if he beats the person who puts him
into the game, the person is liable to get mad. Thus we have soft playing
becoming the start. Soon both parties would see there is a better solution
to the problem. Play the same bankroll and have no problems. You realize
many times you are in the hands together and you lose double to a person
who sucks out.
Thus enters the signals part of the game. Better to communicate and not be
involved in the same hands or let the other person know what you have. Soon
you see how well this starts to work. Here comes another person who is a
friend. He has also gone busted. How do you help him out? You can't help him
out by having him in the same game as you, as this will hurt you net
results. If you put him into another game, he may win or he may lose,
depending on how much money you care to give him. Basically you are loaning
him money. You come up with a better use for him, have him enter you group.
Now you are three deep.
Say you started this 30 years ago. How would you protect your game from
others who have the same idea? Simple, you bring them into the group also.
There is plenty of money to go around and you can't play the games all day
and night. The best thing to happen is to have a constant game going in
order to make the most possible. Thus more and more cheats are added. Soon
you have a dozen cheats working a game.
You organize and have signals for everything. You have been playing for
years now in the same places day after day. You are a dozen strong. A small
military unit. In fact, you could take a military unit and train it do this.
Take a dozen players. Say each cheat needs to play 40 hours a week. Twelve
times forty =480. Imagine a poker game being scammed. Having each game being
four deep. If the game went around the clock for a week, it would =672
hours. However, all a dozen of the cheats need is 480 hours, It shows they
don't even need the game to go around the clock. Approximately 70% of the
time would be fine.
This makes every one happy. All the cheats continue to play and make money.
The house gets games that don't need any props as they have the props in the
cheats themselves. This brings about a $1,000,000 a game into the casinos
pocket each year. Do you think they are going to complain. After all, every
one stands up for the unit. No one is cheating a dozen professionals state.
Who is going to doubt these words?
Say the casino goes under. They build another card room a few miles away
that is far larger and the players go over there. The old card room is no
longer there. Examples are the Golden Nugget to the Mirage to the Bellagio.
Bad example however, for you see one thing that you don't see in any other
casinos, the same management traveled from one place to the other.
In California, it was different. Once there was a city called Gardena. At
one point it was the Poker Capital of the world for about 50 years. However,
slowly another casino opened. Cheats who were friends of the new management
are there first. What does you team do? Your casino has just closed down. A
newer and bigger one has taken it's place. You have to move also. Do you
think the other cheats are going to let you cheat the biggest games. No, you
have lost power and thus have to play smaller. You get the second biggest
game. Since this started 25 or more years ago, the management and players
are built in. As long as you are not greedy, you can make money. It just
depends on how much you want.
Casino after casinos were built in California in the 80's. the cheats
traveled to where ever they were welcome. By now they were so many groups
and so much corruption in management that it was impossible to get them out.
Each one endorsed the other. Each one had a following. Each one praised the
others, all knowing that it was one big cheating fest in high stakes poker.
Corroboration from dozens of people with impeccable credentials. Sure, all
cheats denying they cheated and building a dynasty.
If a casino did not want the cheats, or tried to get rid of them, they would
leave. Since they can only be barred, they all leave and go somewhere where
they will be accepted. Think of it as having four or five games going for
about 70% of the day and not needing any props. Four or five million in
collections for the casino just by this, along with all the publicity that
goes with having the biggest games. In return for allowing the cheats to
scam, the cheats are loyal and keep the games flowing. This is their source
of revenue.
The cheats tip generously. Day after day they tip to keep every one happy.
All employees of a top section double or triple there salary without even
doing anything. What do you think happens when they aid in putting marked
cards in? In high stakes games, millions are won and lost in a night.
Powerful bargaining tool just for putting in a box of marked cards.
Previously it was very easy to put the cards in. The card rooms were smaller
and need all the more games to survive. The cheats bring fresh cash to the
casinos. The players come to play high. They are the only ones to
accommodate these people. All but the cheats get slaughtered in the short
run, let alone the long run.
You talk about fluctuations, there aren't any when you cheat. It is only how
much you make. There really is no down side. With marked cards it is really
quick. Obviously it takes the best to play marked cards to potential. Any
one but a world class player using marked cards, can be detected by a world
class player, even if he isn't a cheat. However, even world class players
would not have a chance playing against other world class players that had
marked cards in the game. They would not know.
Remember the old movies. Did you ever see an honest gambling house? All the
good guys always caught the cheats playing in their joints. Wonder why this
was? About the only honest player you ever saw was Maverick in the old days,
and he was always getting broke. Believe me, things have not changed.
I was asked how I was helpful in making the casinos money while I worked in
them. Well, I would start and keep games going. I would bring in my crews to
work the games. This enabled the casinos to have more unpaid props and the
look of having action. When I went over to the Bicycle Club in 1996, there
was one game of $20-$40 in the top section. With the aid of management
[meaning having the green light] within four months the top section had 17
games going at times. All of these games $20-$40 or higher.
I can create these illusions by B.Y.O.G or bring your own game. Under this
method, you bring a group of your fellow scammers and create games for the
house. Each game generates X amount of dollars that the house wouldn't have
if we didn't have the green light. For if we weren't allowed to scam, we
would not be there.
Remember, every one says the games were crooked in the 70's. However, every
one from the seventies is as big as ever and still around. In fact, most
made their names in the seventies and early eighties. How did they survive
the crooked seventies if they weren't the crooked seventies.
I cane to expose the cheats, not to expose cheating. Every one must realize
that cheating exists. Nothing has ever been done before and if nothing is
done this time, you can forget about ever getting a little honesty in poker.
You will never be able to make poker honest if there are games. However, you
can give people a better chance.
I have been a high stakes player and cheat all my life. It was crooked when
I came in. I learned very quickly what it was all about. Yes I participated,
and yes I won much. However, if the games were honest I would have won a lot
more. In exposing cheating there are not many with the credentials I
possess. For if I did not have what I state, it would not be the main topic
of poker in the world today.
Yes, I admit I don't have the physical proof that many of you want. I
however have done every thing I say and know the business I am in. If second
hand information and participation with first hand information is not
enough, I don't care. For I am about the only one in the world who could
have brought this issue to the place we are today.
I came on this group and was attacked from every side possible. One year
later, I am the offense. The forces are gathering and the people are
massing. Majority of professional players that are honest know I am telling
the truth. However, most don't go back as far as I do, at the level I do.
Most are not willing to put their life on the line as I do. I didn't expect
them to. This is why they have been cheated for years. The cheats and
scammers are organized beyond their wildest imagination. Besides the untold
millions they have won cheating, they also control the media. For if you get
some dissention from the media, you would no longer have a job and the media
would not have any casino advertising. Everything to lose by having this
exposed.
I ask you all a couple of questions. Why couldn't the best cheats in the
world cheat the biggest poker games in the world? Why has no high stakes
poker player ever been caught cheating? Answer; because they have
management working with them

Cool... why don't you go and out-perform the star players on the WPT circuit
for a year? You can easily afford the entry fees, and, as you repeatedly
remind us, you are one of only 25-30 world-class players, and the best among
them who can crush any honest game. And if there is cheating, well, cheat
back, as you promise you know how -- and WIN some big events Russ -- then
people will pay attention to you! Then you can succeed in your quest!

In another post Russ, you state how you've made millions, but would have
made much more if it was honest as you are the best -- and all the famous
players are inferior to you. Can you answer this -- how does SGT. Rock go
and do so well in WSOP side-games?
Oh, it's just 80/160? No cheating there? So the rest of us below that
level are safe? Of course not! It's ALL Crew after Crew at 15/30 and up,
right? Can you just explain how SGT. Rock can safely play?
Sgt. Rock talks about Doyle Brunson's son playing with 20million on the
table heads-up with a high-roller. And he offered him a seat? Why don't
you go crush this game? You are the best, afterall. You are the best
headsup player in the world. The highest stakes never scare you. Why don't
you go play Todd Brunson head up? Or one of these superrich fish Todd
plays -- who like to play a WCP? How are they gonna team play you headsup?
Oh! I get it! Todd is Cheating with the house! The Bellagio brings their
whales to crooked headsup pokergames. After all what's the big deal about
spending 1.4 billion on a five star hotel/casino and then risking your
gaming licience and reputation to scam a couple million off a pokergame?

PS... I don't doubt cheating and crews and even a few famous pro's used to
be in crews if for no other reason than self-defense in the old days... but
as with everything in life... you can discount the extremists on either side
and the reality is usually somewhere moderately in the middle... and none of
it explains why Russ can't make his mark on the current tournament circuit.
I KNOW what kind of cheating goes on there. A bit of softplay from some
staked players when they run into certain benefactors -- and a few large
chips palmed and passed in the bathroom. Please! It's nothing a WCP and
one of the 25 best players in the world couldn't easily overcome!
