Does he want to play or not? He and I both know he can't win in any
long session. It's easy to get someone to post for you, or say they
post for you Barry.

I say, let's play for 5 days or more. Let's arrange terms and play.
I'll post $500,000 to play. No one day plays, a five day event or
longer. We can negotiate on terms. Two three hour sessions a day seem
reasonable to me over 5 days, or longer. But, before this is done, we
must negotiate terms and conditions. I will not take the words of
cheats. They call me a cheat, so why would I take their word?

If Barry Greenstein is unable to post, which of you care to bet your
life he's going through a 'go between'?

He can email my lawyer and have complete confidentiality.

I'll lay 7 to 5 that Razzo doesn't speak for Barry Greenstein - he doesn't need
anyone to talk on his behalf.

"I don't have time to play a marathon with Russ, but I will gladly play
him an evening session whenever I am not in an event at the tournaments I
travel to. My schedule is pretty obvious these days. If he doesn't like
the host card room wherever I am, I'm sure we can find another casino in
the area to play at." - Barry Greenstein

The above is an excerpt of an e-mail I received from Barry Greenstein this
morning.

Russ, let's start with this. DO YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS THUS FAR?

Old Honest Russ assures us that his lawyer is his "dear friend," Harry
Platis.

According to the lawyer's own web site:

"HARRY B. PLATIS focuses on auto accidents, medical malpractice and wrongful
death claims."

Why then would he be interested in Russ?

The photo on Russ' web site is a bit grainy but he appears to be alive. So
no "wrongful death" has occured.

Has Russ had an "auto accident"? Perhaps, but my money is on "medical
malpractice."

A messed-up prefrontal lobotomy could explain a lot of things--the garbled
syntax, delusions of grandeur, paranoia, flat feet, etc.

So, how about it Russ. Did you get one of the big settlements that lawyer
Platis boasts about on his web site?

What a joke. Your shill Susan plays off the mistake I made of her asinine
posting habits in which I thought you two were the same. I'll probally
never live that down, but thats how Susan is. Never sticks to the facts.
Ok, screw Susan. She is either you after all...or is a crazy woman. She is
a Troll...no doubt about that.

Russ, you have countlessly made these huge unthinkable bets or provisions
in your posts for years on many matters. The most recent is the $1,000,000
you just offered me. Always so high that none, even if they were 100%
correct, would never take part in your offers.
This is what you are doing to Barry. So he will not play you. Why? I'm not
sure if it is because you are broke, like O'Malley stated, or you are just
afraid. It doesn't matter.

Why would you think Barry Greenstein would take you on on an approved
site/room for 5 days? Are you completely nuts? He's a bonefide pro player
who doesn't give a shit about money won. You are, and perhaps it is 'were'
lucky, to even get a shot at playing him.
My prediction is you will not play because YOU don't want to. Not because
Barry is "BS".

Just continue to post your 'BS'. Barry, and most except for Susan, know
that you never intended to play Barry, Doyle, or whoever.

Has your whole life been a bluff as well?

He will play any freezeout structure that can be finished in a night.
He wont play an extended match.
Turn up with cash and he will play you.

OK, I guess this is what you want to hear.

I woke up this morning and saw I had an e-mail from Barry. He answered my
e-mail from last week when I asked him if he wanted to play Russ (after
reminding him to read RGP).
Some of what he wrote I posted here.

I never stated that I speak for him.

BTW, 8-to-5 that the match never takes place? LOL. Why not 50-to-1 or
better? You're not a very good odds maker. Not like my late friend, Jimmy

I am finally back home after spending a couple weeks in Las Vegas
filming shows for GSN and FSN. I also played nightly at the Bellagio.
I didn't bring a computer, but I checked my e-mail a couple of times
at the business center and answered some questions posed by RGP
posters.

I noticed with a search for my name that Russ has made varying
challenges to play me. I don't have time to go through all the
threads, but let me answer some questions.

1. My schedule is pretty obvious and busy, as I go to most of the
major tournament stops. Russ can find me at these stops and I will
play him. If he doesn't like the host casino, for instance in
Tunica, we can go to another place.

2. I don't have time to camp out in the Northwest to play Russ over
a many day period. Also, it would probably be a mistake for me play in
some small casino in Russ's territory given Russ's claims that he
can easily get management to assist him with marked decks.

3. I was hoping to play freezeouts similar to the ones Daniel and I
played. We structured them to last anywhere from four to twenty hours.
Daniel and I are not done with our matches, but neither of us will
have time to complete one, probably until next year's World Series.

4. I will not lock $50,000 up with someone who says he is Russ's
attorney. I will post $50,000 with a poker player we both trust,
assuming there is someone Russ trusts. I think Russ stated he trusts
Mike Sexton, since Sexton once said Russ was a good player.

5. I will not try to jack up the buy-in and highroll Russ. In one
post he stated he would play two $125,000 freezeouts. That is fine
with me, as long as the games are normally played poker games and we
structure them so that the freezeouts may be completed in one session.

As an outsider who we enjoy the match, but doesn't believe it will ever
happen, I have to ask why Barry would trust your lawyer on anything?

The way I see it, Russ is all talk and Barry doesn't give a shit. Russ
is making demands about a lot to basically avoid playing. Barry would
play, but does not care to go out of his way to make it happen and
waste time.

In reality, what does Barry have to gain? Even if Russ or Barry played
me, I would win sometimes, that's how poker works. If we played we
each choose one I may win both or I may lose both. Odds are I'd likely
lose, but I'd still win sometimes. Barry really has nothing to gain
and Russ has everything to gain, unless the stakes are so high that
Barry can't turn it down.

Russ may be better, I have no idea. But, two quality players playing
heads up, anything can happen.

I have nothing against the Vic, but it seems too far to travel for the
match. I didn't go to Paris or Monte Carlo either, and have never
played poker in England. I don't like to travel that many hours to
play. I didn't even go to Foxwoods this year.

I trust both Casey Kastle and Vince Burgio.

Nothing has ever been confidential with you. You post your e-mail and
you have posted amusing fabrications about playing with me many times
and about me cheating. Since your fantasies are not confidential, I
assume nothing else is either.

I thought you wanted freezeouts, but I couldn't find that when I
searched though some of the posts. I must have assumed it when you
said we'd each pick a game.

Barry,
You don't have to travel that far according to one of the many Russ terms.

Look;
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.gambling.poker/msg/487f8d23f72427ce

.he says he'll play you at Canterbury, MN or Oregon (as you know). How
about Russ picks the state and you pick the casino..or, visa versa?

Barry, if you play Russ in Oregon, use the 5k Russ was going to give me
and buy him a plane ticket and hotel room.

I wouldn't waste too much time here on this. As I told RGP (and Russ) it's
going to be a waste of your time. He will just do exactly like I
predicted. Use your responses here on RGP to flame you (and to back out).

My dearest RazzO

First of all, I have never posted whether I think the match will come off or
not. I merely have stated all along that I KNOW Russ is a good player. I
KNOW my tournament play has vastly improved because of Russ. I KNOW that a
lot of what he has written about cheating and the big names to be true - as
do you too by the way.

I don't relay second hand information. I only post what I know, first hand.

The new breed of nameless online RGPers think they know what they are
talking about because they saw Rounders - They think they know Doyle because
the read SuperSystems. They have no clue, and if you perpetuating their
naivity is good - then go right ahead.

I don't switch "sides" like you do - depending on which way the money is. I
have no vested interested in this. I don't know if Russ will beat Barry. I
don't know if Barry cheats, and have never stated so. I don't watch poker
on TV **yawn** so don't even know his style. I have watched Russ play
online and was impressed.

I don't make stupid assertations like you about who is posting as who. I
only post with my real name. If you stuck with only the truth you would be
far better off.

I have the balls to stick to my truth - be interesting to know which truth
you believe right now and see you stick to it.

Your friend,

Susan

I respond to idiots who think they know something they have zero knowledge
about.

Isn't it interesting that all of this talk about the cocksucker has
now become all about Razzo. This dumb fuck has been wannabe just
can't stay out of the picture and keep his big, ignorant mouth shut.
Hey! Just like when he was dealing.

Hey. Pops, you're talking to the father of poker media on the Internet,
bro. Show some respect. I'm a has-been, not a wanna-be. Get it straight.
On RGP you're the 'wannabe, Pops. OK?

Now that Barry has responded and seems to intend to want to play the
"C.S." you seem to be getting a little cheesy. You're not afraid that
Barry is going to be sent back to the $75-$150 stud game, are you?

Hey, Pops, you are calling me 'ignorant'? You should hear yourself.
Hillbilly. That's ok, Pops. We are on the same page, in a way, bro.

Why don't you just mind your own business?

Want to bet you don't post second hand info?

I agree that dickweeds have ruined RGP, yes.

I have never switched sides. Big fugging deal. I was nice to Russ for a
while because he put me in the WSOP. I do know now and always will feel he
spreads lies, as you do. Maybe you are Russ. If I did believe it, I am not
the only one, now, am I?

I thought you posted you knew this from 'first hand'? Now you are stating
it like you just learned it. You by chance aren't going to speak at his
forum on Fri, are you?

Perhaps. But you don't know how to post. Unless I am right, that you are
just a trouble making Russ shill. You know, trying to mkae matters worse,
like a smoke screen?

Again, I stick to the truth. It's the muck that floats around that
confuses me. Know what i mean?

Susan, you also know nothing. So, as much as I hate to say it, they have
the same right as you do to post there formed opinions.

I'll play you, Susan. Name the game. Yiu know where I am.

Anything but strip poker. I would like a chance, you know.
Bwhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

it's just as much my business as a poker player and poker industry worker
as it is yours or anyones elses, dear.

Yup

Anything for a buck, eh?

Yes, you are the only one RazzO - except may be the dickweeks you just
denounced.

You see no difference between dealing to him and watching him play, than
knowing what carfs he is playing and how he is playing them?

I have been a self admitted puter dummy for years, RazzO. You have been the
self proclaimed sleuth who figured out who Linda Johnson "really" is.

The Truth? You can't handle the truth.

No thanks - I am by far not the best poker player.

Susan, I'll just state that you did notice that you once (or twice or
more) posted that you thought Russ was a good player. You acknowledged
this.

Also... you really want to bet that you don't post second hand? What about
repeating the stuff Russ declares? You don't call that second hand?
