Gun-Toting Naked Man Arrested

PAHRUMP, Nev. -- Nye County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man on
Thursday for firing a gun into a house. The man was arrested after
being found naked in his backyard holding a handgun.

Police say 52-year-old Todd Kitchner was booked for discharging a
firearm into an occupied residence, child endangerment, assault with a
deadly weapon, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and
possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies were called after residents reported a man was firing a gun
into a home. When officers arrived, they found Kitchner standing naked
on his back porch, holding a handgun. Kitchner dropped the gun and was
arrested.

Deputies say Kitchner fired several rounds through his own home and
towards several neighboring homes and a nearby business.

He also allegedly fired six rounds into one of his neighbor's homes,
which was occupied by six people, including four children, at the time
of the shooting. No one was injured.

Kitchner was arrested and booked at the Nye County Sheriff's Office
Detention Center.

Kids killed in fire suffered hatchet wounds

GRAHAM, Wash. (AP) — Josh Powell painted himself as a tortured man,
ridiculed without reason in the disappearance of his wife, steadfastly
insisting he was innocent until the end.

Yet the investigation and autopsy reports released late Monday show the
acts of a violent man who meticulously planned the double murder-suicide
of himself and his two young sons, culminating Sunday in Powell setting
his house ablaze and taking a hatchet to his children’s necks.

---------------

Hatchets and fire are blamed for the deaths.
Movement planed for registering hatchets and fires.

Jerry Jerry Jerry. I wasn't trying to illustrate "guns bad", that
happens all too much, so much so it would be tedious to draw attention
to each and every one.

No Jerry, I was trying to take RGP role, alla Ben Stein; Bueller?...
Bueller?... Bueller?...  See, one day I figure you'll have a psycotic
break, a medication reaction, a burst blood vessel, or that slow
growing brain tumor will one day cause you to go off in spectacular
fashion. I really do believe you'll run naked down the Strip shouting
some about "2nd Amendment" and shooting like Yosemite Sam. Every time
I read about a similair incident in your area I worry about you and
the public around you.

Just expressing my concerns. And thank you for letting us know you're
OK. That is all.
