the history of Michigan football to Minnesota football now?
This happens to every program at one time or another, no exceptions.
Rodriguez isn't going anywhere. We have a new AD arriving in September
and certainly the old one isn't going to make a change now. But if this
happens again next year, he's done.

Well the confusion stems from the Michigan fight song which calls them
"the champions of the west". Apparently by the "west" he assumed they
meant California.

I moved around a lot. I graduated from the U of Minnesota, so I'm a Big
10 fan. I had season tickets to the Raiders in LA.

in the late 70' Houston was inundated with snow -birds from Ohio Michigan
and Minnesota They even had a minor snow storm .. the locals were
paralyzed , but the cars with Ohio and Michigan plates just drove around
em . Company called US Homes was building houses like popping corn . In
the early 80's the town "crashed" and people were walking into the banks
and throwing the keys at the loan managers and telling them to keep the
cheap houses
I lived there for about 2 years .

Actually, the oil companies were bringing in people like crazy. Most of
the snowbirds would go to California every year shortly after the Rose
Bowl.

1 and a half years and YOU say he has to go. He has 1 full recruiting
class under his belt and YOU say he has to go. Good idea. bring in
another coach, hamstring him with players who are not the right fit for
his new system, give HIM a year and a half and if he sucks it up run him
outta town too.

Michigan has won a TOTAL of THREE Big 10 games since he got there. There
haven't been many seasons in Michigan history where they LOST 3 Big 10
games in a single season.

It has been pathetic; trust me I know, but the idea that you should get
rid of him at this point is ridiculous. After next year if it is the same
THEN you have to make a change at the END of the season and bring in
another coach that runs a similar style offense with a better mind in the
D department.

I doubt I am back for the long haul. I got word there was an interesting
thread going on. I checked it out and saw quite a few threads that were
relevant to what is going on in my life right now so I decided to post a
couple. Plus I just got back to work after 14 days and have a 3 day work
week. I was getting bored doing nothing.
