We need a 17% reduction in Federal highway spending. We don't have
enough potholes and we certainly don't have enough bridges fall apart.
And it seems we just don't have enough construction workers out of
work. So we are all in agreement that we *need* a 17% reduction in
highway spending.
Just wait a second there, too many House Republicans think that 17%
is not enough of a cut in maintaining our envy of the world highway
infrastructure, they want more! So, House Speaker John Boehner (not
pronounced "boner") just announced the bill to fund the highways has
failed. So now no money at the Fed level for interstate highway
maintance.
Roadblocks for voting, guns for everybody, and now let the highways
crumble. Talk about yee-ha!, we'll be back to the wild west in a few
short years and back to colonial America within a generation.

Sure, and if our wonderful administration can keep enough people out of
work for another 4 years, then everyone can go down to mexico to find jobs

Then tell Cantor and Boner to pass the jobs bills already.

gotta have five supervisors for every four workers, and only one guy (the
one with the magic red badge bestowed on best union dues payer) can run
the auto-shovel. let's get them working during the week but mostly on the
weekends at double double double pay. not just anybody can stand and flip
the sign on the metal post, and kids seeing it can encourage them to feel
good about their self-esteem and get a career in the future of dirt
shoveling. more t-shirt manufacturing, and please vote for my half black
skin and big ears!

And then I can apologize for destroying some books with secret codes
written in them and not demand at least an apology for killing our
soldiers over this issue.

Sure, we should pass Obams fake jobs bill and block anything that Obama
doesn't want that would create actual jobs, there's always lots of good
work in Mexico for Americans

This is the typical bullshit you get from the anonymous when they have no
argument against fact. The Republicans are cornored; hate how Obama has
saved America, and block a speedy recovery at every turn.

Says the man who still uses the tired old "kool-aid" line.
And whether you call it an IKYABWAI or not, one of the most rigidly
partisan extremists here, who never saw a left-wing stereotype that he
didn't swallow.

Nah, just made a simple and rather obvious observation.

Yeah, I know that no good comes from claving, but sometimes when they
serve you up such a soft pitch you just can't resist swatting it.

Cite? $3456 billion = $3.456 trillion. I don't think so.
they spent $3456 billion in one year , of which, $1293.5 billion was
borrowed....
and they don't have enough to fix the highways? maybe get a $800 billion stimulus of borrowed money to fix
them, shovel ready and all that and then uhhhh .....
maybe cut spending instead of spending money we don't have..
and of course you know i'm speaking of total government spending, don't
ya?
then again, maybe you don't
