I spoke to a guy who plays at the casino regularly, every day actually, and
asked him how much he makes on average when he plays because he always has
several thousand dollars in front of him on a $500 buy in NL table.
He told me he averages 1500-2000 a day.
Is he bullshitting???

He sounds honest to me.

He's telling you only about the winning days, obviously. That is, if
he's not lying about the winning days.

But that's the thing. I never see him get felted.
And I go maybe 3 or 4 days a week.
He says he does lose but only brings 2 buy ins and then he goes home

I would say it's doubtful that he averages 3-4 buy-ins per day, and if
he has been, it hasn't been over that many sessions. Sounds like he's
running well recently and like someone else suggested, probably
forgets the losses. If your session average is over $400 at a 2-5 game
over a hundred sessions or more, you're doing very well IMO.

There are two factors that make it likely that he is at least
exaggerating.

He might be doing quite well; in fact, it sounds like he is.

You asked two questions. One in the subject, one in the post.

The answer is Yes to both questions.
