I was just leaving the casino this morning and a guy pulled up and
parked his bike near me. He was wearing "Diciples" on the back of his
jacket. I didn't look real close at the details of the design, and I
don't know much about the different clubs, but is "Diciples" the same
thing as "Devil's Disciples"?

In fact, speaking of motorcycle clubs, I was at a gas station in
Fresno just a couple weeks ago and a guy with Hell's Angels pulled up
and filled his tank next to me. I guess I don't have to ask any
questions about that club, pretty famous.

Who were the guys in Laughlin who were shootin it out at Harrah's
Casino a few years back? That would have been a surprise, sitting
there playing video poker in the middle of THAT! I just MIGHT have
peed in my pants.

Anyway, my question was about the Deciples. That's what his jacket
said, but I don't remember seeing "Devil's" on it. So is there
different groups with "diciples" in the name?

I think Laughlin was Hell's Angels and Mongols.

As for the other:

Thanks, Risky, but I saw this when I was searching the internet before
I posted the question. I could swear the guy's jacket just said
"Diciples" and I don't remember seeing "Devils" on it.

I wonder what he would have done if I accidentally pushed his bike
over. I wear glasses. You don't think he would have hit me while I
was wearing glasses, do you? And remember, I'm only 4' 8".

i know some clubs, when someone is trying to be a member, they are
only allowed to wear certain patches, not the full club patch.... when
they become a full member, they are given the entire patch.
and it's also possible it was just a small club with the name diciples
, in which case, they could be in a world of hurt if run into a real
member of the "devil's diciples"

It looks like the real club spells it 'Diciples', but always with the
'Devil's'. Maybe he's just a pretender. That could turn out to not be very
bright.

Maybe you should get yourself an 'RGP' leather jacket. Anyone would think
twice about f'n with you then.

That's right, from what I've heard. That could be the explanation.

That could very well be it! I'm really curious now, but I won't be
back to that specific casino until the weekend.

He actually parked a few rows over from me. I remember being
irritated because I was on my cell phone and the sound of his Harley
was interrupting my call. I didn't jump out and tell him to shut that
thing off, though. But if I had, I bet he would have been scared of
me. D'ya think?

And then, after he got parked, and I'm still on the same phone call,
another irritating sound interrupted my call. It was these two fat
girls walking by, laughing and giggling, I think they lived on the
Indian Reservation because they came from the houses behind me, they
were really annoying, I don't know which was worse, the Harley, or the
fat girls. I should have kicked ALL their asses!

Those Harley queers are afraid of everything. He probably would have
started sobbing if you said something to him. You should have just
slapped him and walked away. He would have gotten the message.

Usually they don't get all of the patches until they're a member so he
could have been a prospect.

If Paul had kicked his ass he never would have gotten full membership.

This guy's jacket looked quite like the link Susan provided.

Hey Welsman, you live in Fresno, don't you? There's a time of year
that every motel/hotel room in Fresno is booked full of motorcycle
guys. I've seen it before but don't know when it is. I remember once
I was going to stay at the Motel 6 on Olive and there was no way,
because there was like 1000 Harleys filling the parking lot, along
with their "well-mannered" owners. All up and down Blackstone,
everything was locked up. Bikers everywhere. Not sure what it is.

In fact, Blackstone is where I saw the Hells Angel at the gas station,
when I was on my way up to Table Mountain. But this huge gathering is
not Hells Angels, it's something else. In fact, there were black guys
on bikes too, and I don't think the Hells Angels goes for that kind of
thing.

I don't know if it's changed at all, but do not ever fuck with the Mongols.
Of course, one should never fuck with a motorcycle gang on general common
sense principles, but the Mongols are (or used to be) particularly bad ass.
I know a lawyer here in OKC who represented some Mongols years ago in some
sort of murder case. He tells a good story about walking into the Mongol
bar to talk to his clients.

It hasn't changed regarding the Mongols, but some of those "gangs" are
just groups of riders who wear colors. Some groups really are
organized crime on 2 wheels, others are just a bunch of posers, and
there's everything in between.

At the same time, most of them have gotten smart enough to leave the
rest of us alone, and you have to work pretty hard to get into trouble
with them. I used to worry when I first started riding, but it became
obvious that I'm pretty much invisible to them.

Motorcycle gangs revolve around drug sales. As with any criminal element, follow the money. In Motorcycle "clubs", the non- 1%'ers who tagalong are the customers. Other crimes tend to follow as they do with any drug dealers with occasional murders, etc over territory, etc.

I'd question anyone who tried claiming that there are any innocents involved with any motorcycle club. Either they are doing drugs themselves and/or are involved or know about various crimes being committed. It might still pay to look at all the patches on their colors...some signify sex acts, some might indicate crimes they committed...as with tattoos...and you might see the occasional "1%" patch by the most criminal element in the gang who has served time and is most assuredly on his way back to prison any day.

I found it very refreshing that the Orleans has a sign in their poker room entrance banning motorcycle club colors.

Bikers are pieces of shit as our anyone who hangs out with them.
