The line came from a classic movie...I suppose it would qualify as classing up
the place.

Besides, I could stream in xcam video of myself wiping my ass and still be
classing up the place these days.

My favorite line was in an English movie of the early '70s (I think) called
"Sunday Bloody Sunday." A couple enters a party and the woman starts an
argument with her husband. She starts ripping her blouse off. A bystander
turns to another guest and says, in a bored, disgusted tone
"Oh God, here comes those tired old tits again."

That's pretty good. My wife's favorite is actually from television, Will

One of the characters is complaining to her mother that life isn't fair.
The mother replies, "Neither is my cottage cheese ass. So get over it."

IMO absolutely nobody will ever beat Mae West for great movie lines. And
she wrote all of them herself.

"Peel me a grape."

"It's not the men in your life, it's the life in your men."

"It's better to be looked over than overlooked."

"I generally avoid temptation unless I can't resist it."

"The man I don't like doesn't exist."

Suitor: "If only I could trust you."
West: "You can - hundreds have."

"Between two evils I always pick the one I never tried before."

"When I'm good I'm good, but when I'm bad, I'm better."

"Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?"

"Come up and see me sometime."

ugly flame wars with half-wit Doogie, I don't blame you for keeping a low

Been a long time since I saw True Romance. I remember Christian Slater, Dennis

But I don't remember Brad Pitt being in this movie. What part did he play?

One I've always thought was great came out of M*A*S*H the TV
show. Hawkeye was using an Army duffle bag as a boxing punching
bag and Hot Lips walks by and notices that the bag has Frank's name
stenciled on it. "Hey," she says, "Isn't that Frank's bag?" Trapper
responds, "Why Hot Lips, I thought you were Frank's bag."

Imagine the movie "Love Story"-- or something a little sappier--
or some similar heart-strings tugging Movie-Of-The-Week human
interest story-- if it was directed by a rapid-fire director like
the guy who did "Die Hard", with Nick Nolte in every scene with
a really ridiculous-sounding Italian accent. I don't know- maybe
it was just me.... but there was something about watching that
movie that just made me want to kill myself.
