I would love to see GB play MINN again .. alas , that cannot heppen as
MINN will get waxed by their next opponent ..GB is peaking and playing
better than they ever have since the Favre exit .
Dallas will run MINN out of their own stadium .. Dallas is peaking at
EXACTLY the right time and the Vikes have done nothing but ran over a bad
team for one half of football and then still LOST the game... and then
they mauled a team that mailed in from the airport in their romp over the
DEADZONE NYG.
if anyone thinks that favre can 'run and gun ' his way thru the playoffs
. they are sadly mistaken

That matchup does not mean what it used to, not that it'll happen.

Based on yesterday, Philly is totally dead. But crazier things have
happened and it would be sweet if they happened to Dallas.
For what it is worth (which is very little), I pick Philly. But it is based
solely on faith and please don't ask for any action on this one. They
can't play any worse?
Is this a rebuy tournament??

You've got the same teams playing in the NFC championship that you had

Happening to be a Charger fan has nothing to do with my bracket picks. I
think they're the best team left in the AFC and if Indy loses, the Chargers
will play all home games. The Chargers are the NFC East Champs, too, you
know. They played and beat everyone in that division as well as their own
division, including two playoff teams, Dallas and Philly. The last two
times Indy and San Diego have met in the playoffs, San Diego has beaten
them. Tell me who you think will come into San Diego and beat the Chargers.
Let's see your bracket, Doggy.

I did some thinking about this while in the doctor's office today and
decided that I'm going to be putting a sizeable bet on SD to win the whole
thing. My time is due and when they win not only will I be able to pay
off Jordan and my other debts, I'll have enough to start playing poker
online for real stakes again. Anyone interested in making side bets with
me?

I think they've been sandbagging.
Jim
Doggy, you really think the Saints laid down against the Cowboys?
Nope.
I don't think they were against Dallas. after the perfect season went
down the tubes, then maybe. I think most teams value momentum and
confidence and 3 losses in a row achieve neither.
Do you think they would play their starters the whole game if they
were going to sandbag it?

After the post-season's locked up, I think players value their health.
Coaches value their players' health too, I'm told.
BTW, #1 seed, even after dropping 3 in a row, is not "limping in".
Jim
call it what you want .. I told you people weeks in advance that there
would be no undefeated teams and i told you when they would lose and who
they would lose to and how
NO was 13-0 when they lost to dallas
if you think that game would have been the same if the saints were 11-2
and desperately needed to win that game ..you are out of your mind
what is it with you "FANS" ? how fucking blind do you become ?
denvers best year they got to 14-0 and stone cold layed down
Indy layed down like a little girl ..literally "QUIT"
Go back and look at teams that get to 12-0 , 13-0 .. Only one went
undefeated in regular season
When someone tells you what you are going to see and why you are going to
see it and when you will see it ..it is fool's work to argue the point
NO didnt give a shit about the Dallas game .. they made that decision
before the game , when it appeared that the Vikes were going to puke it up

The problem is that they had a lot of defensive starters injured going
back to the New England game. For Dallas, Tampa, and Carolina, Shockey
didn't play. I am not saying he is that important just by himself, but he
adds a component that is a threat and also opens up other people. They
had to get players off the street that weren't even playing when they
played NE. I don't know if all that will be cleared up by the first
playoff game, but it has to be better.
The Saints have the offense to win it all, it just depends on who they
have on defense. Dallas looks like the team to beat and Philly might just
take care of that after they lulled them to sleep last weekend.
I think anybody that thinks the Saints can't win two games in a row based
solely on losing the last three against teams that were on a free roll is
mistaken. If they get their defense back together it will be two easy
victories in the NFC playoffs.
Neither Dallas nor Philly are going anywhere in the playoffs IMO.

Dallas' defense is playing really well right now. The question is when
Romo will pull a Matusow?

Either Dallas is going to Minnesota or Philly is going to New Orleans. So
you can't say that neither of them are going anywhere in the playoffs.
Now if your contention is that the winner of their game will lose in the
next round, that's something that can be debated rationally, SpazzO.
