If you're in New York or Florida some won't be
valid or limited to $5,000. Never send "taxes"
or any other fee to collect your prize, never
try to deposit a check for more then the prize
to return the difference as a tax or fee, it
is always a scam and the check will turn out
to be bad and you will have to pay it back.
If the contest looks in any way scammy move
on to a more legitimate looking sweepstakes.
Ignore sweepstakes connected to filling out
surveys, or anything else that involves a
survey.
Upgrade your virus, adware, malware, scamware
software.
Expect to work twice as hard as having a job
to win about 10% of what you could have made
working unless you are very very lucky.
Expect to win a large collection of Tee shirts,
appliances in colors not found in nature, misc.
useless stuff with company logos, etc.
