I bought 2 big bags of yellow onions today at Aldi for 50 (total)
because they are starting to sprout and some have bad spots. Should I
peel and chop, freeze them on cookie sheets, and then bag them? Or make
a big pot of onion soup and freeze quarts of that? Is there a better
use for them?

Thanks,
Bob

P.S. Hope y'all have a great Easter. He is risen!

I like your idea of chopping and freezing. Not real great for using
raw but great when you want to use them cooked since you already have
them chopped.

That's what I'd do.

Dry a little of your chopped onion and grind fresh onion powder as
required. Onions dry so easy that if it isn't humid, you can just
leave them on the chopping board for a few hours.
