Picked up a new Espresso Gaggia machine in Italy - in the manual, it says
that the water reservoir can be removed after disconnecting the
decompression duct (10b) by pulling it down.

Problem: no part 10b in the diagram of the machine on the page before, and
I can not find any part that matches the description on my machine.

Any ideas?

On my Gaggia Baby, the decompression duct is the black plastic tube
with a 90 degree bend which runs from the bottom of the reservoir
into the drip tray. Despite what they say, you actually pull it
outwards rather than down.

By the way, the Gaggia makes brilliant espresso, doesn't it!

Thanks for your reply, and yes, the machine makes a lovely espresso.
Nevertheless, I cannot find anything like you described on your Baby on my
Espresso Gaggia! Perhaps Gaggia changed the design of my machine after
releasing the instruction booklet?
