Electrical. Being a 1930 house this house has had many revamps of the electrical system so today I have a true example of a "state of the art" home electrical system! I had my electrician put in a new 200 amp AC service panel in the basement but there still exists one 8 fuse fuse box! And one fuse had blown and I had NO replacement fuses! (And NO I'm not gonna put a penny in it! That makes the house wiring 'the fuse" and that leads to HOUSEFIRES!) So I had to find and buy some little fuse replacement circuit breaker thingies and bought out my local Menards of 20 ampers! Six of 'em, plus I DID discover the basement breaker had blown too!

Good thing I know a LOT about home electrical systems! :-)

I'd get rid of that box and put in a decent breaker panel with new
wires. Some of that old stuff had deteriorating insulation and no
grounds.

Exactly!! I wish I has another "small fortune" to sink into this house. But I do NOT! So those types of improvements are slow in coming!

His creepy "stained-glass Rainbow Tribe window" over his front
door probably disturbs his neighbors. They probably think some

The stained glass around the front door, in two square windows in the front room and a 2 pane vertical slider in the First Floor Bath! And the patterns of stained glass was done in many of the homes in Bel Nor when they were built, 1930's-1940's! These were BEAUTIFUL HOMES, not Cookie Cutter box homes!

Some value beauty more than money! And I do!
