I tried calling my Agency this AM several times, no answer. So I decided to drive to my Agency to see what was up. They were closed! I assumed they closed up shop and I was out the possibility of a job! :-(

Then when I got home and emailed my nephew he emailed me back and told me today was MLK Jr Day! So I made myself a Vegetarian STD Meal and to relax after played Pink Floyd's "Meddle" album on my full audiophile sound system, Speakers: Klipsch, Bozak, Two 15" Subs, Macintosh and Crown power amps!

I spent 30 minutes walking on the indoor track, then another 30 on weights and machines, and I'm just an old fat guy, lol...

And as it was the MLK holiday, I had a *real* day off, but I did laundry and cleaned house, too...

Gads, but John is a lazy mule's arse...

You never had "the possibility of a job" as a PEDO nurse.
The donut job is still up, if you can quit Dreaming of

Which reminds me to do some gym work before working in the garden this
morning. I usually do some training in the morning, as our gym gear is
in the same shed as our indoor grow room. Same deal in the early
evening.

I generally refer to it as Native American Subjugation Day. With a good deal
of sarcasm.

I'm a true believer in social Darwinism. If a culture can't hold it's own, it deserves
to die. Even Western Civilization.

Any job they're capable of. I don't think John's able to do bakery work

bit of audio tat that might have been)?

A bakery - or most any - job requires a modicum of "soft skills", e.g. teamwork, time management, the
ability to follow detailed directions, impulse control. John is severely lacking in *all* of those
categories...

And, yeah, physically he's apparently too far gone...

He couldn't even get to the job if he tried anyways, his Leaf does not have the range - or he'd
prolly crash it into the house getting outta the driveway...

My career has prepping peeps and placing them in jobs. Frankly, I can't see that John
is capable of *any* sort of work, he's in the "hopeless case" category...

If he really *wanted* to work, he *would* be working. Like scads of people I've seen, he
*says* he wants to work, but he'll avoid doing *anything* pro - active to actually get a
job...

It's very simple: get yer ass outta bed, get up and GO TO WORK - and this is one thing that
he'll never do, it's easier to talk about than to do it...

It is scary how John and many I've seen are simply allergic to work. They are satisfied I guess
with a very low minimum quality of life, a life of dependency...

I've said to many who balk at taking a "menial" minimum - wage job, "You are making zero per hour
now, don't you think that ten bucks or whatever an hour [now $15/hour in Chicago] is better than
zero...???" But they sit and make the excuses...

choking his chicken.

We should expect one of those rants shortly. Now that he's figured out
some of his gmail wound up in a junk mail folder, he should be right on
this! Because he's a computer engineer. I stand by my "insult". It's
my opinion and most of his posts reinforce my opinion, which is my own
and in no way is intended to infer other people feel the same way. ;)

Nope. Shellac is the shell (wing covering) of a particular beetle
(Lac). Exactly how it's made I don't remember so it was time I looked
it up. I learned about shellac when I took a woodworking class in 7th
grade. Back then shop classes were compulsory for boys but girls
could take a Shop Class instead of Home Ec; Wood working, Sheetmetal,
Printing, Electrical Wiring... was long ago. Shop classes are a good
thing, a youngster could graduate from High School and earn a good
living... shop skills are still in high demand demand these days. Our
neighbor's 17 year old son commands $40 an hour operating earth moving
equipment. He'll be graduating from Boces and already is in demand by
the County road crews. Operating a giant excavator pays a lot more
than a donut maker.
