I just read that the rioting mobsters shat all over the Capitol
building and smeared their shit on the walls. And right-wingers
complain about Antifa and BLM protestors :)

Both extreme ends associate themselves with Democrat or Republican. The
parties don't associate with them though.

PS - Is that a verified story? Haven't heard that here.

Looks like it's true. Google for "shit in the capitol".

I think that anybody who uses violence to push their opinion down
other people's throat should be locked up. Left, right, center.

The NY Post is a moderate right news source. This obviously did happen.
These folks were despicable. Most Republicans even feel that way. I'm
glad to see the Republican brand tainted, but not like that. One of the
villains in this whole thing is the junior Senator from Missouri, Josh
Hawley. He defeated one of the most centrist Democrats, Claire McCaskill,
two years ago. Claire was/is brilliant, and could work across the aisle. If
she runs in the Democratic primary to unseat Hawley in 2024, I will knock
doors for her. Our senior Senator has an awful voting record, but he didn't
participate in the nonsense that precipitated the insurrection. He'll be
reelected easily, but Hawley is a shitstain.

The NYPost is a Murdoch owned, right wing rag.

Balance. NYC would tip over into one of the rivers if the Post or Times
closed.

The Hudson, I suppose, since it would be leaning to the left.

A right wing Murdoch owned rag doesn't contribute anything to balance.
It only contributes to filth.

Goodness knows what happened to The Times of London after he bought it. It
used to be a "paper of record".

There was always some degree of bias to the press but it was generally
restricted to the amount of time and space that would be dedicated to
articles. It is out of hand these days. The bias tends to be very right
or very left, and a lot of it is just plain fabrication. There is so
much false news out there these days that Trump can get caught in
another lie and just dismiss it as false news. |

Is that this one?

When it's about the UK, I always look at The Sun for a laugh and at
The Times for the facts. Or so I thought.

The NYT is too far to the right these days to let that
