I do that all the time with left over meat, typically pork. There
were four slices of boneless pork loin in the fridge, so I jullianed
them for a soup... four stalks of celery sliced, two sweet onions
sliced, a piece of ginger root grated, a packet of Goya chicken
bouillion, a few drops of yellow food coloring for show, fresh ground
white peppercorns, four large garlic cloves minced, one large carrot
diced, dill weed, an 8 oz can of 'shrooms, perhaps I forgot something,
thickened with corn starch slurry. pork will be added later. No ramen
this time. That'll be my dinner, Kath is having a salad.
Today our new steel hose reel arrived from Amazon, very nice, very
well made, and well worth the $169, much better than those stupid
plastic ones that barely last one year... took me only an hour to put
it together and get the hose on it and all ready to go. Our tomato
seeds arrived today from Hudson Valley Seed Company.
I attempted to mow the side field today but too wet, almost got bogged
down, very thankful for 4 wheel drive... and we are supposed to get
thunder showers tonight... I'll just need too wait for some hot sun.
