YUM-O! :-)

The 'V' is for Vegetarian. STD = Standard.

I just did that to a chicken stew. Yes.

No dead animal. Better brace yourself for the feedback!

You made a vegetarian chicken stew? It's possible:

John cannot afford to buy meat now; he's taken up the vegetarian lifestyle
to save money.

That's not a picture from somebody "who likes to cook". What's under
there, baked beans?

I had a CCCP (carnivore chicken, cow, pig) sandwich.

I'm not sure what's more expensive here, meat or vegetables.

No, to stop killing animals for my dietary pleasure!

Did you know we can grow meat from the stem cells from the animal?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mi5EfhPGHg4

Imagine eating the meat from the animal without eating the animal! Culture grown meat will BE the future of meat! Farming animal meat is so yestercentury!

Yep, my own home made Baked Beans starting with 4lbs dried beans, soaking them, rinsing then cooking to al dente then mixing with 3 or 4 large red onions chopped then softened by cooking a bit while stirring in EVOO, 5 bouillon cubes, 16oz tomato paste, sweet paprika, black pepper, brown sugar, molassess and a few bay leavers. Cook a bit more if desired.

Have you thought about trying a Raw vegan diet?
Supposed to be "healthful" vittles.

Ain't that the truth. But considering that rfc is old and
conservative, the barbarian factor is bigger here.

I can imagine it alright. I was going to get this from Costco but my freezer space was totally packed.

Um, we already know what VSTD stands for: Boring.

I'm 99% sure some of those "International" students were vegetarians so
he jumped right on that bandwagon. Of course there aren't any
"housemates" there right now. No legal "Occupancy Permit". I'm not
sure who he's trying to impress with this vegetarian thing.

As for Bruce - hey, I often eat meals that don't involve dead animals.
I just don't feel the need to crow about them. I sure as heck am not
interested in eating a standard meal (never mind calling it an "STD" -
aka "sexually transmitted disease") every day. When it comes to food I
enjoy variety.

Yeah, the STD meal sounds more like something Popeye would come up
with.

*I* like 'em that way! :-)

I have another in the microwave right now!

A VSTD Meal well earned, I mowed the back yard today! :-)

All 800 square feet?  All by yourself?  That's a huge accomplishment!
Enjoy!

The level stuff is easy, it's the hill down to the UMSL ballpark road that I mow because I took out my house's back yard fence so I kinda "bought" the mowing right up to the sidewalk. I don't mind, I can and do do it and it looks fabulous! Well mowed! :-)

Looks good to me! Is the white bit a potato or a daikon?
