Trigger warning for Michael ;)
https://www.flickr.com/photos/36178182@N08/52822048443/in/dateposted-public/

Scoped out the location for the cabin, and met a guy who lives close who said he'd keep an eye on the place. I'm going to bring him some black raspberry plants as a neighborly gesture. Had my first beer in several months. It still tastes the same. I'll probably have some more in a couple or few months. The steak was a nice surprise. They weren't on sale in the ad, but when we stopped to buy ground beef, there they were, as cheap per pound as the hamburger. I love cattle. They turn grass into meat.

Poifect...!!!

When a kid there were blackberry bushes wild, all over the place, could pick gallons of them...

Same with morels when they popped up...

Both - along with catfish|carp - were considered "poor food", because they were free...

Now here in da city they are luxury items at Whole Paycheck...

Enjoy the camping...

"Who's [sic] hand?" My son's, and the steak was fine. It wasn't
USDA Prime, but it was $3.99 a pound. We're having the other
one for dinner. The baked potatoes are already in the oven.

It wasn't a restaurant. We were cutting off hunks to eat with
our hands. I guess that you were busy eating the stinky shit
that you make because you're jaded on normal food.

Well, this is how the great unwashed use a knife.

Thanks, I'll avoid the picture, heh. If you've been off of beer for a
while, why bother trying it again? I'm not saying that it's the same
thing, but that almost sounds like the story of the smoker who quits,
then tries it again to see if it's the same -- getting hooked on it again.

My car meet at the end of April was moved from Pensacola to Alabama, but
I'm still heading down to Florida afterward, anyway. My cheap self will
just "camp" sleeping in the car, again. Some friends of mine rented a
camp ground, and there should be room for me to park on one of the lots
which they reserved for one night. Bonus, that means there will be a
campfire.

I could bring a grill with me, and cook on the side of the road like
Sheldon, but that sounds like too much hassle, plus too much to pack. I
think I have a campfire iron sandwich press maker thing somewhere.

I'm not getting addicted to alcohol again. You've just heard stories,
and have no firsthand knowledge.

A campground usually allows for two tents per campsite. A Geo
Metro is not a comfortable sleeping car. Remember, I used to
own one, so I know. Why the heck are you going to Florida?

As you're going into Nashville, get off of I-65 at Old Hickory
(TN-45), and go east to Gallatin Pike, where there are bunches
of Mexican joints that look both good and cheap, both to the
south and north. Just put "Madison, TN taquerias" into
Google.

Oh yeah, that makes total sense now: "Let's use a dull knife and
an upside-down vertical stabby fork whole hand fist grip(tm) to
eat with our hands and post it publicly",.

"jaded on normal food"? Uh, OK? Or something...

You're just jealous because you were denied membership at Club
Roquefort because of the way you hold your knife and fork.

I'd rather have graded Choice for twice that price than sub-Select
steaks.

My error on the spelling and use of whose.

But if he'll hold his knife and fork like this he'll find cutting any meat
much easier. He'll also have better control of his knife and fork.

I'm taking up Four Loko again. I certainly didn't expect it to be
any different. The Sour Watermelonm still tastes liked shit, but
it has 2% more alcohol now. The 14% Grape is still fine (just
cracked one). But the Loko U.S.A with the desecrated flag
probably won't be back until June.

I've only ever seen very young children grip forks like that. If you're
going to eat meat with your hands, pick it up and use your teeth.

Haha, Steve's done some research. The guy who hosts that meet has
driven his car to Ohio and back several times. I told him that I'll
make it out there, some day. I need a picture of my Geo driving through
one of the live Redwood tree "tunnels".

Eh, why not? I like Florida, and it's my birthday weekend, so we'll go
with that. I've slept in one before, and I know it isn't fun. I'm
tempted to pull the passenger seat and put a foam mattress in.
