You said you'd be starving, but you are a liar. We'll be having
more cherry tomatoes than we can eat from now until first
frost.

Cherry Tomatoes are poisonous if you eat too many.

Pink Lady tomatoes are not poisonous.

You don't actually grow your plants INSIDE the cages, you just use
them for peripheral support later? Did you forget to put the
cages in up until too late?

They're volunteers that come back every year. They're
inside, outside, tied to, everywhere. They only get a few
hours of sun a day, but there they are, every year. The
only significant work is in November, cutting out the
vines after frost.

In late spring when 12" tall, pull the straglers and weeds and
push the cages down over the plants that made the cut. That would
take about 10 minutes. They'll grow better, healthier, tastier,
and will preserve the gene pool. Very few vines to pull come
November, and takes an extra 5 seconds to pull the cages and throw
them in the yard with all the other junk. Bonus points for
throwing down some nightshade fertilizer after last frost (another
3 minutes).

These things have come back every year for a lot of years,
and produce more than we can eat. I don't need any of your
urinecentric gardening advice.

But, they'll be much better if you piss all over them every day.
