I didn't actually measure anything. But thsi it would have measured
of I did. Best cookies ever! They spread a lot, but were cripsy
and tender and buttery - oh, just make some now dammit! I made
these in 4 minutes + bake time.

Preheat to 350F.

3/4 stick butter softened, or nuked at 10% power does it for me.
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
3 TB white sugar
1 large egg yolk
1 ts vanilla
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour
1/4 ts baking soda
1/4 ts salt (or just use salted butter)
3/4 cup (chips (I used white, but milk choc are good too, screw
those semi sweet)

Mix first 5 ingredients with whisk, add next three, mix, add chips,
mix again. Plop onto [double layer] cookie sheet and bake until
they're done to your liking (I went with slightly crispy outside and
just set in the center). I went wth 6 cookies using a
scooper-pooper that filled a half sheet pan-sized insulated
non-stick cookie sheet.

I also use salted butter in place of salt in recipes. It makes
butter-cream frosting tolerable.

That seems like A LOT of butter for the quantity of sugar/flour.
Normally when I make cookies, it's a stick of butter per half cup of
sugar or so. They must have been very thin and crisp.
