And the guy in Alpha Tech said there are a LOT of Pioneer CTf-1000 machines in STL and they have repaired most of them! :-)

The Pioneer CTf-1000 WAS the Original Cheep Effect machine! :-)

Are you blind? I made my comment; it's right here for the world
to read. Even Koo-Koo Kuthe spotted it.

YES! Idiot. Stop worrying about a band that is decades defunct along
with cassette tape players which are also long defunct. GROW UP.

That's clearly a lie.

When does the documentary about Cheep Effects come out? Would MTV be
interested? Does MTV even exist anymore?

You *must* keep that cassette machine working. Otherwise, cheap
effects will become as dead as your nursing and engineering careers.

Tell Alpha just how important this is, and offer them extra payment
if they keep it working. Sell your roof if need be!

Please, cheap effects must NOT die!

Ds1 mode:

My guess is in the future, John's cassette machine will become a
scared item. Billions across the world will travel to Da Lou, to visit
the sacred cassette machine, housed in a shrine made of the very
finest shingle, placed in his basement, courtesy of old world roofing.

Other scared items such as the purple panties, butt plugs, relic
shaved pubic hairs - and of course - the norditrack can also be
viewed.

Both Bryan and John's carcases will be housed in the Cheep Effects
mausoleum, both hugging each other with butt plugs clenched in each
hand.

Cheep Effect's legacy will live on longer then Elvis.

LOL I don't know if it was a typo, an autocorrect or intentional,
perhaps even a Freudian slip, but I am thinking you were facetiously
suggesting sacred, not scared.

favourite?

I had my own band, a more glam punk thing. I had a very
good drummer and a spectacular lead guitarist, a passable
rhythm guitarist and a 14 YO bass player who could kind of
play. I wrote him very simple bass parts. Also a singer with
a very loud voice who could pretty much sing on pitch, but
that's about the best one could say about my vocals.

I thought most of the Cheep effects stuff was crappy,
including the song that used a crappy poem of mine,
but I did like *Weirdos on the Street* b/w *Quicksand*.

I heard one of your songs (with you singing). I liked it and saved it on
my music list. Sadly, that was on my old laptop that died a few months
ago and no way to retrieve it now.

The Bonobos broke up more than anything else because
of my vocal timbre. It wasn't for lack of effort. I paid for
two semesters of voice classes. I was born with this
voice, and like it or not, the leopard got the spots he got.
