Wolf. I think he is doing great.
My daughter does not listen to him nor me.
What a shame. She has a science degree in evron.
I have a thermal scanner b4 entry into my house. I do go to work everyday but did not party this 4th.

Thermal scanners are what Chinese used in airports in the
beginning. Worthless safety factor. All that does is catch
the actually sick people, not all the carriers that might
get sick a few days later.

For letting people in your house, open all windows and try
to wear masks.

The "experts" have finally discovered that opening windows
is a good thing. LOL Took them long enough.

But how would you catch those?

If you're the only one living there, what are you trying to achieve?

Heard parts of Melbourne are going back into lockdown. Is it just local or
does it affect you?

They should have quarantined early and banned all outgoing
people. Notice that countries are now doing it.

I've always done that, pandemic or not. Every house should be
opened up at least twice a week to flush out old stale air.
Viruses inside can and do multiply in comfy households that
never open windows. That's why common flu and cold season is
during the winter each year when it's cold and nobody
opens windows or goes outside often.

Fresh air is everyone's friend. Don't be stubborn.

Notice that most of the covid deaths people in closed up
retirement homes and even hospitals. Neither ever open
windows and they all die like crazy. Be smart, open
your windows.

lol, omg, viruses do not multiply outside of a host
organism.

with the AC running here and it hot and humid outside
we don't normally need to open the house up because it
brings outside air in for the AC. there are enough gaps
in the house that windy days can influence how often the
AC will run. in the past 20+yrs i've done some caulking
to seal up the gaps so it isn't quite as drafty as it
used to be.

that's just simple numbers, when people exhale, cough,
sneeze, sing, etc. they are exhaling the virus too. the
closer you are to an infected person the more virus
particles you might breathe in.

there is nothing magical going on (though i do find
life rather facinating).

All these people don't live alone, you do. If there are covid viruses
in your house, it's because you have covid.

In the southeast portion of my county Covid-19 is rampant, I do mean
rampant. That portion of the county houses a large, LARGE, L.A.R.G.E.,
portion of immigrants. Eight, ten, twelve, or more live in 2 bedroom
apartments. Such close quarters they are going to be passing it amongst
their own families and being immigrants they're going to congregate with
their friends and family who speak the same language. Gary hasn't a clue
how many people live by choice or forced to live in conditions they'd rather
not.

That's also why workers at meat packing and chicken plant were so
badly affected everywhere. Most of them are "immigrants" of one
sort or another.

Very true.

I also read that conditions in meat plants are favourable for
spreading of the virus: cold, dry and, obviously, indoors.

Important or not, I just like fresh air every chance I get,
especially when it's coming off the ocean (east winds) :)

Warm and moist indoor environments are also good breeding
grounds.

I heard that the virus doesn't like moist air because the moisture
damages it's outer membrane and makes it heavy, so it falls to the
ground rather than float from person to person.

I vaguely recall you were in those parts. These flare ups are going to
happen, even in NZ.

I always think about you when we get south winds and the air reeks
of the cement plant 20 miles away or when the farmers are manuring
their fields. Ah, fresh air!

Last weekend the air was redolent of skunk.

I worked one day in a town about 50 miles away.
They had a paper mill there and the wind was blowing
towards town. Very bad smell.

Then we went to McDonalds for lunch and even their
buns had absorbed the odor and tasted like it.
Probably the only time I wasn't happy with McDonalds food.

Yoose are dreaming, there's been no fresh (clean) air on this planet
for way more than 100 years.... all the air is polluted, all the water
is polluted.... and becomes more polluted every minute of every day.
We live in a sealed bubble, there is no way that man made pollutants
can escape. The best we can do is attempt to filter the pollutants
from the air we breathe and from the water we drink. Smelling ocean
air is no differeent from smelling any deodorized air... lousy water
may taste better mixed with Koolade but then it'll be further
polluted. Spraying your toilet with Febreze makes it no less
polluted, just that yoose prefer the aroma of lilac to yoose shit (for
brains). Some of the biggest pollutors are fast food joints with all
their frying... so what that they have exhaust fans, where do yoose
dummys think that exhaust schmutz goes?

I'm thrilled for you. I, for one, don't want the windows open when it's
90F outside and extremely humid. It's too uncomfortable.

How will Popeye crawl in to hump you, if yoose window is closed?
