I used to be subscribed to a gardening group but didn't find it worth
while and was a big time waster going through all those lenghthy
posts... can't really answer questions when hardly anyone says what
growing zone they're in... I've asked and I get back What's a growing
zone?
Most all you'll need to know is printed on seed packets. We cover our
entire garden with weed block cloth once fall is here, saves tons of
work come spring... we just till, rake, and plant, there are no weeds
to deal with. We buy the heavy duty weed block cloth, it's well worth
the extra money, and lasts many years, just roll it up and put it in a
shed. We don't save seeds, we buy fresh each year, no point in
planting seeds that you wait and wait and they fail to germinate, then
you've lost all that growing time. If looking to save money find a
neighbor to share seed packets , no one needs an entire packet of
seeds for a home garden.
