Boys, a chess pie is sooooooo simple to make, you really can't mess them
up unless you let it burn in the oven. If you're really adventurous you can
make your own crust or you can use a storebought one. I always opt for
a deep-dish ready-made pie crust.
Just as I was getting ready to 'post message' I stand corrected. Yes, you
can mess them up. My niece does when she makes her. I believe she uses
too much sugar and it does not get a chance to dissolve once the pie is
in the oven.
