I hate people that don't consider prices when they buy stuff.
"Much much does it cost?" is the second diamond on my "Grocery
Buying Decision" flowchart - right after "What is it?" and before
"Do I need it?" and "Do I want it?".
One thing I like about our Walmart is that when and if the deli
staffer arrives to work they cut various lunchmeats and
immediately mark it down 10-60%. This is an incentive to keep
customers from harassing them for cut-to-order lunch meat when
they're trying very hard to avoid working at all.
For example: .83 lbs of solid muscle roast beef for $5.61 (37%
off). 1/3rd the price of that Boars Head.

Yes, thank you.
The discounts seem dynamically random, so it keeps me checking out
that little space. While the Mickleberry's ham is only 14% off
this day, I would have taken 0% off since they're the only store
that sells Mickleberry's anymore.

Two weeks ago it was pastrami for 60% off. Got 3 packages of
2lbs.
And then if these don't sell by the next day, they mark them down
with another yellow sticker 50%.
Looks like Thomas has decided my 3:AM snack for me. I mean, since
it's already out of the package...
Viva la Wally World! Down with Boars Head!
You going to church today, Thomas? I sure am! I'm going to pray
for serenity and people who don't look at prices. Anybody else?
