Fuck the US “government”.

So I went online to order the “free” COVID – 19 tests. I proceeded to check out and was informed that
I did not qualify:

“At-home COVID-19 tests have already been ordered for this address.
Our records show that at-home COVID-19 tests have already been
ordered for this address. We are unable to process duplicate orders
for the same address…”

WTF…!!!??? I ordered two tests from CVS several months ago – at a cost of $50.00 – so I guess that
“disqualifies” me… and I *do* have my own unique address.

Why am I not surprised that this program is botched from the get - go...???

<sigh> - or "LOL...!!!"

I saved that link last week from a site I had visited and I've never taken
an at-home or anywhere test. I just completed my request and have
gotten a confirmation e-mail it will be sent.

I don't know what the deal is...

Of course the order portal is via USPS, so "it figures"... USPS should *definitely* be
privatized, they are a ghastly socialist bureaucracy, along the lines of the UK's National
Health Service...

More US "government" incompetence...

Ditto. I ordered ours just now. Well, lookee here! I have a USPS
confirmation. That was easy and a couple of minutes work.
Greg, I'm sorry for your difficulty, but thanks for the link :-(
Now, let's see if it shows up.

Those tings are 99.999% useless tehe way they'll be used. Who's
making the most money off of those?

To get the most bang for your "buck", use one test on a as many of
the household as you can at once. If one of you has it, you''ll
quarqantine because everybody will probably contract it anyway if
they don't already.

If the text comes up nagative, then the chances of the test being
accurate are 2x, 3x, or even 4x more likely you're all negative.
Good To Go!

GM is complaining because he doesn't qualify for the free Covid test.
That's because he already *bought* two of them. Does he actually think
they aren't keeping track of the supply?! They are probably wondering
why he needs so many Covid-19 tests. LOL

Greg, I saw this online earlier today and copied what the site said, so try again.

A glitch with the website has already been reported by some individuals who live
in apartment buildings or shared living spaces. Many people have taken to social
media, saying they were blocked from ordering tests after someone else in the
same building had already ordered.

A suggested fix is to put the apartment or unit number in the street address line
rather than the apartment address line.

THANK YOU, Joan, I will try that. Have been googing to see if peeps have had issues with
ordering, but haven't found anything...

And as for Miss Entitled White Woman's - aka JILL's - snarky comments above, when we are required to
go into the office and if we call in sick, we are REQUIRED to take and present the results of a negative COVID
test in able to return to work - it is "agency policy". I've already used the two I ordered from CVS this past
autumn; as a taxpayer I am due these four "free" COVID test kits. And they are not "free", our taxes
paid for them...

And I frankly doubt that the government is "tracking" peoples' commercial purchases of these test
kits in order to "deny" them the free tests. The USPS is supremely incompetent to even deliver a
letter across town, let alone track something like this...

But what does Princess Jill know, she's always had a life of ease, sponging off of her parents
her entire life...

Of course, the issue that has cost Biden the most is the pandemic. The best word for his Covid policy is
weird. As a candidate, he blasted Trump for the “lie” that “every American who wanted a test could get
one,” then for no clear reason waited a year to start shipping free tests to people. There were similar
delays with releasing 400 million N95 masks from federal stockpiles, despite the administration’s
ostentatious messaging about mask use (even wearing them alone or outside in all-vax groups).

Biden looks bad. During the campaign, when he was challenging strangers to pushup
contests and doing sternum-pokes in crowds while nervous aides bit their lips, you
could make the argument he was merely in steep mental decline, which was okay.

Against Trump the standard of “technically alive” worked for a lot of voters.

Biden now looks like a man deep into the peeing-on-houseplants stage, and every appearance is an adventure.

LOL. It's odd that they denied him though. From what I saw yesterday,
they go by home address. Only one 4-pak per household. That's for this
free offer though.

My daughter's bought a few home tests in the past few months. She
applied for this free offer and she wasn't denied.

The good masks are so crucial with this mess yet most everyone is "over"
them and have quit wearing them. Result: large spikes in Covid cases.
It's a stupid situation these days.

Virginia's new governor just ended the mask mandate for school children.
I think he's an idiot for this. Way to premature to stop something that
does work.

Government is giving out 500 million N95 masks now. Why are they doing
this and at the same time ending mask restrictions? WTF is going on here?

Things here are a lot different. All the kids wear masks when they're in class. All the kids and adults wear masks when in public. I can't say how effective wearing masks are in this epidemic but the good part is that it shows that the people are united in this Covid thing. That's might just be the important thing.

I ordered my ration in 2 minutes. I'll take 2 to Florida for vacation and scalp one for dinner money.

That sounds like a plan. How much loot do you think you can get for a test kit?
I should probably get some. My wife said the patients at her hospital are testing positive. Some people think that the staff are infecting the patients and some people think the ventilation system is to blame. My guess is that it could be both. Anyway, things are getting hairy down here. This morning, I saw a transformer on a pole explode. I'm not superstitious but that could be a bad sign. Oh wait, I am superstitious. Never mind...

I need to develop a smooth sales pitch, like it doesn't fit in my luggage and does anyone on the plane need one?

I'll use one test around day 4 of vacation and save one for departure.
