Everyone should know this simple method for any dough to be rolled out.
Sure taught me something.

Buzzkill Sqwertz to the rescue!

This is totally staged.

Notice she moves the bowl an inch to her left right before she
starts rolling. And then notice her roll - she goes gently back and
forth a couple times, then for the 'finale' she JERKS the pin back
hard and presses down harder than before. She totally planned that
being her last pass.

Also note it looks like a pretty flimsy disposable plastic plate so
it wouldn't hurt her face - why does she have that much flour on the
plate anyway? The direction/placement of the cutting board... with a
blob of dough that would barely make 3 biscuits when cut - there's
not enough room on that cutting board to roll out the dough.

Clear as day - STAGED! What reddit was this posted in so I can
protest (I probably won't be the first, but worth a try).

I don't know if they still make it or not but Tupperware used to have a pie
crust rolling out thing. It was plastic. I think two sheets of plastic, but
I could be wrong. A guy in my high school used it for an oral report on
demonstrating something. Worked very.

I just make drop biscuits. I don't make them often and I prefer them that
way anyway.

I don't think it is staged. I think Steve is a stooge.

<yawn> Oh, stop acting like the spurned bitch/Pussy Katz/Bruce. They
say stupid things, too, desperately seeking my attention.

But hey, no skin off my back. Knock yerself out.

Perhaps these too are stupid things seeking your attention. I turned up
the sound volume, and:

1) No cheesy music. (*)

2) Face out of frame except at video end, despite that face was perfectly
'targeted'.

3) The 'repositioning' of the bowl of flour you speak of is a small
fraction of an inch; more a nervous tick. During the launch countdown she
similarly pats, re-positions, and adds flour to an already fully floured
doughball a few times.

4) I cannot tell what language she speaks. But the tone certainly comes
off as authentic. Either that, or she is an exceptional voice actor. This
is not likely considering the rudimentary production values in the video
as a whole. (i.e. Point #2)

(*) Obligatory food reference.

We all know it bothers you. Why be ashamed of yourself? Come out as
what you are!

If English was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for us.

IDKWTFYBabbing about, but it was clearly staged. And I didn't see
there were hundreds of comments supporting my notion when I posted
my suspicions.

So fuck you.

Sincerely,

After you posted your last message, I see 61 total comments.

And I only see about 15 or so supporting your notion.

Do you like her 'cat' apron?

Sure, but I'm going to wait till you get through sniffing. Don't
want to ruin your delicacy.

I was not aware of that; I stand corrected.

Of course it was staged; it was intended to be funny. :)

If I were to make biscuits, I'd use the American rolling pin, but the French rolling pin gives one so much more control.

But their intention was to make it appear to be real.
