Have you been watching for the last month where "Jeopardy James"
nails all the questions?" He knows everything about everything
and it was not normal. He easily won all month with huge nightly
earnings.

Well last night, he was only one normal night (for him) away from
winning the all time winnings. Should have been the easiest thing
in the world for this guy.

He lost though, right at the brink of a record. He sat there and
didn't answer even the easiest of questions. He let the other two
answer most questions. At the end, final jeopardy question, he
was behind in money but he didn't even bet it all, just a small
portion.

That damn show is fake and rigged. Someone paid him off to lose
and not break the record. My proof of that was first not
answering many questions then in final question, he certainly
would have bet all the money (like 24K or so) but all he bet was
like 1.3K. WTF? That loss was preplanned.

I say, he was commanded to lose. He didn't like that, so he
wagered that silly low wage on the final question just to let
people know that he wasn't allowed to win. He's not that dumb.
That low wage was his protest. Hopefully they paid him well
though.

No more Jeopardy for me. "Fake News!" WTH???

I was ticked off by a letter to the editors of a newspaper that bashed
the producers for allowing a professional sports gambler to compete. I
did not understand the objection. Being good at sports betting would not
necessarily make him proficient in other areas.

He might have got bored with the game. He is a gambler. He said that he
thought his opponent would not get the answer. He may not have expected
her to bet so much, especially on that category.

Go out and get yourself a tinfoil hat to help you figure out the
conspiracy without them reading your thoughts. I don't think Jeopardy
had any reason to want him off. Au contraire... they love it when they
have a champion who is acing all the questions. It may be costing them
money in prices, but they get more than that value in PR. People flock
to the show to see how long the champ can hang in and, hopefully, become
regular viewers. That puts their ratings up and increased the
advertising revenues. The viewers are the product.

Apparently Gary cares. ;-)
FWIW... I hate the term "fake news". I hear it too many times coming
from the lips of Donald Trump as he is fending off questions about the
things he has been quoted as saying. I just can't fathom the idea of
dismissing something he has said as being fake news when he was the one
who said it.

We can safely call this a breakthrough moment in Gary's intellectual
development. I think a moment of silence is called for. Let's pull out
our lighters too.

Yes indeed.Yesterday is was a comment that he had made about the Megan
Markle. He denied saying it, and when faced with the recording of him
saying it he said it was fake news. A few months ago when the NAFTA
talks were going on he talked about how he was not going to make any
concessions at all to our prime minister and would force a deal that
Trudeau would be too embarrassed to sign. He denied saying it, but
someone had him on tape saying it, and he dismissed it as fake news.

Money? He is a pro gambler and maybe he had side bets with his cronies
that would pay more than winning. Or a mob group threatened him. If
you follow Gary's description it sure sounds like he took a dive.

You're barking up the wrong tree. Deplorables couldn't care less that
their hero's a liar. Ask Joan, ask Greg, ask Moose, ask Gary. They do
not care.

He even passed up so many easy questions that even I knew.

It could be a gambling thing. Bookies will take bets on anything.
Certainly to bet on James losing that night would have been super
high stakes. Perhaps the "mob" bet heavily on that happening and
threatened him and all his family (including the cute young
daughter). Lose tonight or you all die.

OR, as he is a professional gambler himself, maybe he's the cheat
and got someone to bet a fortune of his own money and bet against
himself. The returns would be huge.

Isn't that a crime? If so, perhaps the FBI should find out who
bet against him and won a fortune. He so obviously threw that
game.

The woman that beat him didn't even look very happy during last
night's show. Had a "deer in the headlights" face.

For whatever reason, James definitely took a dive Monday night.
After 30 some days of winning large and easily, no sane gambler
would have bet against him unless it was rigged and they knew it
was coming.

Note: Perhaps the old Ken Jennings win should be looked in to
also. The woman that won and kicked him off, lost the very next
show.

There are some pretty good ex television shows on YT. A Canuck one
5th Estate is good, 48 hours is there - PBS Frontline - I cast them
to a television since I cut the cable, works well.

So why in the world should YOU care?
Fact: he will remain President until the next election.
No need to whine and cry constantly.
Probably won't win next time but we shall see.

Because what Trump does around the world (Iraq , China, Korea, Syria;
or about pollution, climate change, etc) affects the rest of the
world, not just America.

Except that all this was filmed 2 months ago. Many people knew the
outcome already, including himself. I guess there could have been a
bet before taping, but nobody knew he was going to be bet-worthy
back then. He could have gone down in the first one or two rounds.
Any bet beforehand would have just been a token bet between friends
- not bookies. There are no previous stats to judge how Jeopardy
Smart" he is, unlike sports betting where you have stats and know
who's bigger and better (supposedly). No bookie is going to take
significant bets on any of that for anyone.

Imagine if Hollyfield vs Tyson II was being broadcast tomorrow night
for the first time. What odds will you give me that Tyson will be
disqualified in the 11th for a biting the left ear of Holyfield -
1,000,000 to 1? :-).

Bookies know what is going on but the general public, no so much. That
can be part of the scam, if there is one. Could also be it was
orchestrated from the start.
