Angel hair pasta cooked in salted water, drained then tossed with cooked
vegetables. Leftover asparagus from yesterday, sliced yellow squash and
some quartered artichoke hearts I had in the fridge. I plan to toss
these cooked veggies with the hot pasta and a little olive oil. Season
with a bit of pepper, Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning blend. Sprinkle
with some grated Parmesan and that's dinner. :)

I've not a clue what tonight's dinner will be but I just got through making
a large bowl of steakhouse potato salad. This will be served with baked
chicken legs and baked beans for Thursday evening. The potato salad
won't be fit to eat until tomorrow after the flavors have melded together
and it's thoroughly chilled.

We had leftover pot roast last night.

Tonight will be meatless for me: scrambled eggs and toast.

And YUM!! but in my Carb Coma after dinner last evening, I watched the 1973 movie "Go Ask Alice" about a poor drug addicted high school girl named Alice. :-(

I now eschew all the drugs I took in high school! I'll stick with another Cuppa Plus! A cup of hot strong Sumatran coffee (1,3,7 trimethylxanthene AKA caffeine) and a ml or so of CDB oil courtesy of Lazarus Naturals and a dribble of Hershey's Syrup!

I know what I am having!!! My elder daughter just dropped off my
Mothers Day gift, they were at a dock when a fisherman came in and he
agreed to sell them a beautiful fresh out of the water, halibut steak!
It's a lovely translucent white and it will taste like manna.

My D-I-L's birthday is next week and as they can't go out to a
restaurant, my son has asked me to make her favourite dish, the seadood
lasagne that has become a xmas tradition.
The trouble is that the supermarket where I usually buy the fresh sole
fillets, has had several covid cases among the staff. I might have to
compromise and buy the damned frozen "Product of China" instead:-(

You have no idea what a normal person's day is like.  For you, sending
your year's old tax information is an excuse to not look for a job.
When questioned, you type insults and profanities.  The stress of your
lame existence will kill you before the next snowfall.

Well, you know that he has a hard time getting an interview for any
job. Maybe he will get hired some day, but will likely be as an
orderly. That's OK. It's honest work, and carrying bedpans full of
shit is certainly needed. Even mother gaia needs her pan emptied.

He will have to learn to shut his loud mouth to get *any* job, even
toting buckets of shit. They don't have certified cannabis
orderlies, except in australia.

Believe me Alex, I am anything but normal! Normal is BORING and I am NOT BORING!

I am what's called exceptional! Have always been too! Like when I graduated WashU I was interviewed by a Mr Hunn and in 2nd grade I had a very pretty teacher named Miss Mayfield who married a Mr Hunn so I asked him if he perhaps was that Mr Hunn, and he was! Later when I saw him again he told me he mentioned me to his wife and SHE REMEMBERED ME!

I suspect that "functional" might have been a better word choice than "normal".

Sounds good. Fresh like that is always so good. I've never had
halibut but have caught their smaller cousins - flounder.

I thought you were going to say lobster. Had any lately?

Well, you certainly aren't looking for an argument.

Well, kuth's right about one thing ... Most of us DO remember wild
psychos we have known (or taken care of).

I'm sure Miss Mayfield remembered his crazy ass!

Beats the shit out of me why people are so interested in your taxes. Mostly, you're guilty of not being very good at putting together paperwork and filing stuff. I can dig that. The real scammers are people that are very good at paperwork and hire people skilled at moving their assets about.

I think that people that hassle you about your business have serious mental problems. Their grip on reality is a loose one.

This is sadly true. The dummy should have started right out
in usenet years ago with a fake name and address.
