And bathed outside in Mother Gaia's finest! Ugh!

And burned NO petroleum!

Someday soon it will be ILLEGAL to burn petroleum to do yard work! Not to mention the stinky NOISE factor!

I have a 100% electric house, car, mower, weed wacker and 'leaf' blower!

I'm definitely buying this house!! It's PERFECT!! Well, OK not
perfect, it needs a LOT of work!! But it's got great potential!! I
knew that right away too, and I know it more and more each day I live
here!!

Yama! :-)

Anyone have about $250,000 I can use? I'll pay it back, soon. With
interest if you want. We'll have to sign a contract and shit, if we go
the interest route. I ALWAYS pay my debts, ask anyone I've ever owed
money to! :-)

So very true. A google search for his name shows many of
his rantings and ravings...cursing constantly, drug abuse
mentions, and on an on.

John wants another nursing job but he keeps shooting himself
in the foot daily and destroying that chance for a job.

I thought of one idea that might help but he won't do it.
Even my idea might not help but it's worth a try.

My idea:
Actually, I'll post that in a new thread as I'd like
to make sure John reads it. Look for "Ping: John" coming

Your "little infraction" was ASSuming there was an adult parent in the
house without checking before leaving a bedridden child alone at the end
of your shift. Would it have been so difficult to knock on the bedroom
door and, not getting a response, open it? It is hardly a "little
infraction". But hey, go have another Cuppa Plus and forget about it.

Jill, as far as nursing goes, kuth is done. Well done. Completely done.

Especially pediatrics. That area of nursing takes a different type
of person than a rainbow cannabis nurse, even if they are climate
anarchists, running for mayor, live in da Loo, and have an UZI.

Even all the electric cars, lawn mowers, and weed whackers won't
help him.

Heavy doses of Thorazine or Mellaril might. I do feel sorry for
him, but until he is forced into treatment, he won't change.
Unfortunately, it takes an extreme event for this to happen.
Perhaps mass murder, extortion, etc.

On the other hand, he just might end up being our next president.
He does have a lot in common with current president Drumpf.

I do believe its time for me to grab my 50 ml syringe and draw up
my daily dose of Lysol. Bye.

OMG, Dave. Gasoline powered? That's petroleum! Okay, I don't have a
trimmer but I use a cordless, rechargable battery powered leaf blower.
It only requires the burning of coal to produce the electricity to keep
the battery charged. Don't you see how that makes me a much better
person? LOL

Ryobi does make a really nice, light in weight but strong on power
cordless leaf blowers. I truly do hate dragging cords around when it
comes to using electrical yard appliances.

As countries work on becoming cleaner and more sustainable,
electricity's becoming cleaner and more sustainable. But gasoline and
diesel cars will always be stinkers. So, John and your leaf blower are
prepared for the future (or the present if you lived in an advanced
country).

The Ryobi leaf blower would probably be adequate for the average urban
yard. I have a gas powered one that I was given. It is not completely
useless, but I have an electric Toro leaf blower that is so powerful
that my wrist gets sore when I use it. The cord is a PITA but the power
of that things makes it worthwhile.

When I am done here I have to go out and get my petroleum fart weed
whacker started up. I figure I will be at it for 45 minutes or more.
When I get into the ditch there will be stuff in there that a battery
powered line trimmer would not cut through.

We have an Echo leaf blower, plenty powerful but still gotta deal with
a mountain of leaves. We don't bother with the
echo leaf blower anymore, we get rid of leaves by driving the tractor
mower over them fitted with mulching blades, leaves disappear as if by
magic... just gotta mind which direction the mower throws the tiny
leaf bits. My wife usually throws grass clippings the wrong way,
right onto the driveway, she's left handed. Left handed people are
good with artistry, painting, drawing, musical instruments, and such,
just don't expect them to have any mechanical ability, and they don't
make machine tools for lefties, all lathes are designed for righties
as are all sewing machines. When people applied for a job we'd check
out which hand they used to fill out the application, lefties were
never hired, they're too dangerous.
My wife plays golf and has to special order left handed golf clubs,
they cost more.

I don't golf, but I do a bunch of stuff right-handed. Knit, use scissors,
use the sliding compound miter saw, computer mouse, etc. It was just
easier to learn to use my right hand for those things than expect the
world to conform to me.

I'm left-handed as well but never threw grass clippings on the sidewalk or

But I've found out when I do I have them sit directly in front of me, facing
me; it's a mirror image of what I'm doing. I hope that makes sense.

I use a rake and the electric leaf blower to get leaves and crap away
from the house, nooks and crannies, under shrubs and away from the stone
walls. Then I use the tractor with a regular blade. It jobs them up and
blows them to the right. I just keep aiming them past my property and
then the get blown across my neighour's yard and over to the nursery
where they make good compost.

I am semi ambidextrous. I can do a lot of things equally well with my
right or left hand. My left handed writing is actually neater than my
write handed, but it takes a lot longer. I can swing an axe, a bat or a
raquet with either hand. I have an artistic side to me but I also have a
pretty good mechanical ability. I can figure out how things work, take
them apart and put them back together. I can use either hand for a lot
of things, but am better and sawing and filing with the right. I have a
stronger hammer swing with my right hand, but I can switch to the left
an time.

> My wife plays golf and has to special order left handed golf clubs,

Maybe she should try playing right handed. Then if she loses she can
blame it on the clubs.

No, they get blowed back into the grass as lawn food! Plants grow best on the bodies of their own dead. I have a 100% electric mower that mulches like that too! Mulching mowers are best for the lawn.

Good job Sheldon! Your lawn loves you for it too! :-)

Yes, it makes sense! I used to hang a big magnifying mirror from my
neck, and that worked well, but when the lefties made mistakes, hands-on
was required - so, I taught myself to do it left-handed. It gave me a
great deal of sympathy for left-handers living in a right-handed world.

LOL! We also have a battery weed wacker and leaf blower. Reason isn't
some silly thought that it 'saves the environment' but because they
weigh less to use.

I should look into the trimmers. We don't have many bushes that need
trimming here.

A bit like me then.

Generically I am 'right hand trained' but reality is when I was a kid,
the teacher noted right away which hand I used depended on which way
she put the pencil down. She said it's easier to learn with one hand
then 2 and if it really didn't matter to me, that right was a little
easier because of how the writing flowed.

When I broke my right wrist in college, I had to take left handed
notes. Worked fine if a bit messy.
