It's been over a week since he last posted. Not like him.
I hope the fellow is ok.

Not me. I talk to people on usenet but don't interfere in
anyone's personal lives. YOU might have scared him away by
calling for another roof estimate.

Regardless, he's still missing and hope he's fine.

He *needed* another roof estimate.

I hope he's busy working and am glad he's not spouting off a bunch of
senseless gibberish here.

Isn't this about the time his roof project was to start? He may be busy
hauling the old shingles.

I can think of a couple of reasons to do the job right with the same
shingles.
I can also think of $123,000 reasons to use some other material.

It's pretty sad that he has invested a significant amount of his
inheritance into a house that has already cost him a bundle in repairs,
that he is now spending and additional $123,000 for a new roof when he
could likely get a nice steel roof for well under $20,000, and he keeps
talking about the rental income, a measly $5000 per month. The poor
dumb bastard doesn't realize how much it is costing him to provide cheap
housing to students.

Maybe his XP machine died again and had to go the the computer
repair place.

Or maybe he finally got a real job and is too busy working.

Hope he didn't get jailed for any of his anarchist stuff.

How long does he have to stay away before the bitching stops? I guess

I'm sure you meant $500 a month not $5000 from his renters. I really do
hope he's busy working.

Inhale s.l.o.w.l.y., exhale, inhale deeply, hold for a second or two.
Now exhale fully and repeat as often as necessary.

Oops.. you are right. Another typo. I am bad enough at online editing
but I just picking up new glasses today. If it were $5000 a month he
might stand a chance of being able to call it an income. At $500 per
month it is just a money pit.

Aww, how sweeeeet! They have a husband and wife murderers in jail
there (Cramer). Ain't that just darling!

My concern is that he might have lost the easier part time
job. If so, he's not so happy and perhaps the bullies
