So this habitual felon PUKE croaked of the chinese virus, now his bros are SUING...

My comment is "If you don't committ criminal acts that result in jail, then you won't BE in JAIL..."

https://chicago.cbslocal.com/2020/04/06/cook-county-jail-inmate-who-tested-positive-for-coronavirus-dies/

Cook County Jail Inmate Who Tested Positive For Coronavirus Dies
April 6, 2020 at 7:22 pm

CHICAGO (CBS) — A Cook County Jail inmate who contracted coronavirus has died, the Cook County Sheriff’s office confirmed.

"Jeffrey Pendleton, 59, was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital of Cook County at 9:49 p.m. Sunday...

Pendleton was booked into the jail on July 24, 2018 on charges including being an armed habitual criminal, armed violence, and other drug and weapons offenses, the sheriff’s office said.

He received a bond review on March 26, but a motion to reduce his $50,000 bond was denied, the sheriff’s office said. He had 15 previous convictions and was a registered sex offender for a 1997 conviction of aggravated criminal sexual assault – for which he was sentenced to 15 years in prison..."

[...]

And THEN the family is SUING, pretty friggin' OUTRAGEOUS...notice that this story leaves out some of the felon's "gory details":

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/2020/4/10/21216629/jeffery-pendleton-cook-county-jail-covid-19-coronavirus-death-donnell-todd-warren

He was treated like an animal,’ says brother of Cook County Jail detainee who died of COVID-19 shackled at hospital

The brothers of Jeffery Pendleton say the shackling was excessive, and are suing the jail to stop the practice.

By David Struett Apr 10, 2020, 3:30pm CDT

"Cook County Jail detainee Jeffery Pendleton suffered “cruel punishment” while being treated for COVID-19 at Stroger Hospital, his brother says.

Pendleton was immobile, with a breathing tube inserted down his throat, but was still shackled hand and foot to the hospital bed.

He died Sunday — making him the first detainee of Cook County Jail to die of COVID-19.

His brothers, Donnell Todd and Warren Pendleton, say the shackling was excessive, and are suing the jail to stop the practice.

“He was treated like an animal,” Todd said. “I don’t think anyone deserves that treatment. He was sick and needed help. And to still have him shackled by hand and foot, with a guard — that’s too extreme.”

The brothers have filed a federal lawsuit against Sheriff Tom Dart and Cook County, alleging they violated their brother’s constitutional rights by shackling him to a hospital bed. The lawsuit alleges the shackling policy “was excessive, caused gratuitous pain, and violated his rights under the Fourteenth Amendment.”

Jeffery Pendleton was in the hospital for six days before he died. He was awaiting trial on gun and drug charges.

His other brother, Warren Pendleton, said shackling was a “cruel punishment” for someone so medically fragile. Jeffery Pendleton had been shot in the kidney, recently had back surgery and had pneumonia multiple times, Warren Pendleton said.

“Who knows how long he had (COVID-19) before the hospital?” he said. “He called me Saturday saying they would put a tube down their throat. Then I got a call Sunday saying he passed. How could you let someone be shackled — someone who can’t breathe? He can’t go anywhere.”

The sheriff’s office hasn’t commented on the lawsuit, saying it hadn’t been served with it.

Cook County Jail is considered one of the largest cluster of coronavirus cases in the country. More than 270 detainees have tested positive for COVID-19, and 21 of them are being treated at hospitals, according to the sheriff’s office. On Thursday, a second detainee died from the disease.

The attorneys who filed the lawsuit, Patrick Morrissey and Thomas Morrissey, have previously sued the sheriff’s office to challenge the shackling of pregnant women while giving birth at the jail, and have sued to challenge the shackling of a quadriplegic detainee..."

Why yes - hopefully, the biggest puke, the king puke, will one day get what he deserves. After all, he's likely to be responsible for hundreds, perhaps thousands of deaths. Perhaps he'll burn - along with all the other members of his administration that didn't blow the whistle on the puke.

I'm not surprised that a moron like Trump exists. There must be
millions of them worldwide. But how can an open country with an
education system, elect this schmuck? And possibly re-elect him, even
if he hadn't fucked up the current crisis? To me, that seems to be the
real problem. Now, the floodgates for retarded US presidents have been
opened. There will be many more.

My phone cut off for an hour the other day. That damn Trump had
his hand in that, no doubt!

Also lost power yesterday for about 3 hours. Fuggin Trump.
He should have warned us about the approaching storms with

The line from the chump is that he's not responsible for anything. You can forget about blaming the chump of the united states for anything. The buck stops there.

Breaking news - the chump, once again, does exactly the opposite of what he should be doing. The good news is that your lord and master is, once again, not responsible for what he just did.

Well , since the WHO helped the chinks cover this up until it was too
late to stop it ... I'd say put that money somewhere that will actually
give us something in return . I've heard rumors that this virus was
intentionally engineered in 3 versions to keep the free world busy while
the chinks further their plans for world domination ... get over one
version just in time to get infected by another .

Democratic Party has lost all face with me. They whine and cry
when they lose an election. Remember when they cried CHEATING
when Bush won over good ol' Al Gore?

Then they did the same with Trump.

The electoral college is never a problem either unless a
democrat candidate loses.

Just because of this constant witch hunt during Trump's
time, I'd like to see Trump win again and see Pelosi
and her close group of Democrats lose their seats in
congress. Never in my lifetime have I see a President
have to endure such a ridiculous mess.

Why is it, do you think, that no Republican president prior to
Trump has had to endure such a ridiculous mess? Is it him,
perhaps? Bush had a Democratic House and Senate in 2007-2009,
yet they didn't go after him. Reagan and Bush from 1995-2001,
the same.

It's Trump. It's his unending shitshow. The country needs

I didn't say you said he won by a landslide. I was drawing a comparison
between 2016 and 2020. Against such an obviously flawed candidate as
Hillary Clinton, he still wasn't able to win the popular vote. If she
had been paying attention in the swing states, he might not have gotten
enough EC votes.

I think he'll do worse against Joe Biden. Biden's polling +9 in Michigan,
a thin +1 in Wisconsin, +9 in Arizona. It's a long ways until November,
though.

Besides which, the left/liberals/Dems are DEARLY hoping the economy permanently tanks, they would LOVE to see 50% unemployment and many millions pauperized in order to "blame" it all on Trump...IOW impeachment, Russiagate, etc. did not work, so hopefully this will...

The Dems also hope that people will be permanently pauperized by the chinese virus fracas, thus they can enlarge their "dependent" classes, the same way they've created "dependent" classes in poor urban neighborhoods. They make low - income peeps dependent on scant handouts, thus ensuring their Dem voter base will *always* vote for them - Chicago is a sterling example of this squalid "plantation" policy...

It's not like people didn't see it coming. The chump's staffed was briefed on this possibility before the chump was inaugurated. The chump was warned about a possible pandemic in mid January. To this day, this huckster is more concerned about his TV ratings, the stock market, and his reelection. It's just bat-shit crazy.

The biggest problem, as I see it, will be in gearing up all the States
to have paper ballots or vote by mail options come November. If this
pandemic has a second wave, voting at actual polls in person in November
will be a real problem. This is an entirely new situation. No one was
prepared for a pandemic right in the middle of the most important
election year.

Ditto. He still thinks he's the star of 'The Apprentice'. From the
start of his term he fired anyone who dared to criticize him. Anyone
who disagreed with him, after having been appointed by him, were gone.

There's a new Press Secretary but I've never seen her on camera at these
silly Corona Virus press briefings. It's the Donald Trump show.

Now there are hints he wants to fire Dr. Fauci, the only person on the
team who actually knows what he's talking about when it comes to this
virus. Dr. Fauci was at the forefront and advised six Presidents
through various health crises. None of them quite like this. Point is,
Dr. Fauci doesn't care about politics. He cares about the public health.

Trump hinted about getting rid of the only man who has spoken out
clearly and concisely to the American public about this pandemic without
any political agenda.

The coronavirus isn't a political issue. It's a pandemic. Trump has
been waffling from the get go. "Oh, we'll all be back to normal by
Easter. Oh wait. Maybe by April 30."

He's an idiot. The virus didn't give him a date for the all clear. He
has qualified advisors telling him NO...

I, for one, won't follow his dictates. I'll stay at home and wait for
medical professionals (such as Dr. Fauci) tell me what's going on during
a pandemic. And local government.

Trump flip-flops his position constantly. He shouldn't be trying to use
