Picked fresh and wet from on and off rains all day! Washed by Mother Gaia Herself! The basil anyway, the tomato was red and inside on the Kitchen Table. I used 3 thick slices of some kind of take home and bake more bread, EVOO, freshly ground black pepper, shredded parmesan cheese (then toaster oven again!), chop 2/3 of a fresh tomato, a mess of fresh wet basil, cleaned well, and some shredded Gruyere cheese all mixed together and toasster ovened again, cooked, eaten! :-)

I discovered eating fresh stuff growing from my garden and long time ago! :-)

There should be a law against picking home-grown tomatoes when
they're not ripe (unless you're expecting storms or want green
tomatoes).

And it WAS! And I still have the bread for another! Lots of EVOO/freshly ground black pepper on the bread too. :-)
