Ho-hum regular ingredients: About 2 cups cooked white-meat chicken cubes, a diced onion, a diced celery rib, maybe 3 Tbsp mayo (Hellman's), maybe more, some salt.
MAGIC SECRET ingredient: Berbere. A good 2+ Tbsp's worth.

I use mild dried New Mexico chiles plus one hot one when I make my berbere so it doesn't turn out taste-bud-killingly hot, but you can do what you want.
The chicken salad looks totally unappetizing (lumpy, brown) but throw some into a half pita with lettuce and holy smokes. So good I just HAD to post about it. :-)
